One of the most amazing experience in your life is probably when you find out that you will be a parent soon. While hearing this news is normal to shed a few tears of joy. A new life in the family is the best thing you can get.
In the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City something special happened. Over Memorial Day weekend, Guillermina Garcia gave birth to five babies. Two baby boys and three baby girls, Fernando, Jordan Esmeralda, Fatima and Marissa.
Prior to the birth process, mom’s giant belly was covered in bruises. This bruising is caused by broken blood vessels under the skin, which was worsened by the pressure on Ms. Garcia’s abdomen.
Her pregnancy wasn’t easy and the chances of something going wrong have been just too high. She agreed for the babies to stay in the womb for 7 weeks longer than most other quintuplets. For the mother to make sure, her babies were all healthy, even if she endangered her health.
At the age of 34 Guillermina Garcia gave birth to these five beautiful angels. Luckily they were all healthy as well the mother.
Ms. Garcia had marked bruising on her stomach for much of her pregnancy. This bruising is caused by broken blood vessels under the skin, which was worsened by the pressure on Ms. Garcia’s abdomen.
A pregnancy of multiples is not an easy task at all. Women that have more than one baby e may need to go to prenatal checkups. There is far more medical testing needed in such cases.
In the video below, you can see the journey of Ms. Garcia. The video starts with an ultrasound where we can see the beating hearts of each child.
In the video you can even see the operation in the delivery room when the babies enter the world.
Even though this experience is not an easy one, it is truly a blessing.
