After Reading This, You Will Never Put Toilet Paper On The Toilet Seat – Ever Again

You’ve probably seen many people put toilet paper on their toilet seat while they’re in the public restrooms.

If you are one of them, you probably do that to prevent catching a disease from someone else’s splashes that may be left on the toilet seat, isn’t that right?

But, this article is going to prove you wrong! We’re going to tell you that you should never put toilet paper on your toilet seat ever again!

This probably has to do more with providing comfort and reassurance to the user than actually doing anything to prevent some diseases. According to different experts, toilet seats are not a vehicle for the transmission of any infectious agents, so, you certainly won’t catch anything. They were once thought to be a way of transmitting gastrointestinal or sexually transmitted infections, but many years ago, researches managed to confirm that this fact isn’t true.

If you cover the toilet seat with a toilet paper, you will do more harm for yourself than good. That’s because of the fact that toilet paper itself is loaded with harmful viruses and bacteria, which can harm your health. When people are done with whatever they were doing, they all flush, but they don’t put the toilet seat down. One study managed to prove that these splashes can go up to 2 m in height and if that’s so, all the harmful bacteria go on the toilet paper.

Many disease-causing bacteria, such as E. coli and streptococcus can be found on a toilet seat, but, the good thing about our bodies is that our skin serves as an effective and protective barrier, so unless you always bring your own toilet paper to put it on the toilet seat, try this instead. Don’t worry! Your skin is able to protect you itself!
