Yay
Nay still spikes your insulin levels. Just drink wate
Actually I heard this is untrue. it doesent contain calories or carbs so it shouldnt effect your glucose levels.
Literally doesn't matter
They taste shit.
This is untrue, I have a friends with T1 diabetes and they drink sugar free soda because it doesn't spike their levels.
People with T1 diabetes can't produce any insulin so even if they eat pure sugar it will melt cause a spike
Insulin levels don't mean shit unless you're diabetic you stupid braindead homosexual.
That's ... bullshit? Literally did not find a single study that conclused that artificial sweeteners lead to Alzheimer's?
https://examine.com/nutrition/do-artificial-sweeteners-spike-insulin/
Sorry sweaty, but you have been deboonked
the sugar alternatives they use give you alzheimers or dementia...I guess late stage brain debilitation to cover all bases. They've done studies and we know it for a fact by now.
prove it
>go on pubmed
>look up studies with tag ''artificial sweetener'' ''alzheimers'' ''dementia''
>get article name, look it up on libgen
>read motherfricker
>go find a study that agrees with me
that's not proof
burden of proof is on you
I know what I know
you the one who remains in ignorance
if you choose to disregard the wise advice
ultimately your responsibility to yourself
I don't even care I have my own scientific integrity
>burden of proof isn't on me, the person who made the claim, it's on you
oh sweetie, oh honey....no
then stay uninformed homie
little baby homie needs to be spoonfed
oh sweetie oh honey no
I accept your concession.
>concession
>sweetie
>honey
yeah no wonder you can't keep sugar out your mouth, it's barely ever out your head...
what the frick is this reddit garbage language, you sound like a woman

5 seconds of googleing, 0 seconds of being a cringe moron making semantic arguments about who the burden of proof is on
>look I linked 2 studies that display some sort of correlation, the science is settled!
>burden of proof is cringe semantics
holy shit you're dumb

>Researchers admit that more biological studies are needed in order to confirm definitively the effects of artificial sweeteners.

>Before you despair or give up your favorite diet beverage forever, keep in mind that a study of this sort has some major limitations that can lead to faulty conclusions. For example:
>look I linked 2 studies that display some sort of correlation, the science is settled!
well tell me mr. science on how it's supposed to be done? should i have linked 200 studies instead? for that you could do what the first guy told you to do, go look it up yourself, from which we get to the next point:
>burden of proof is cringe semantics
yes unironically, in this case, the burden of proof is for bugmen, real scientifically minded people won't just dismiss a claim because the other party (the first guy) won't provide a source (considering the information is very easily accessible), that's not science, that's politics. scientifically minded people won't choose to live in ignorance just because "its your job to prove it!!!" thats not intellectually honest
>Researchers admit that more biological studies are needed in order to confirm definitively the effects of artificial sweeteners.
you despair or give up your favorite diet beverage forever, keep in mind that a study of this sort has some major limitations that can lead to faulty conclusions. For example:
pretty mute points, and if you actually looked at what the "for example:" section said, it was shit like "This study did not look at the overall health effects of diet soft drinks; it’s possible they are still a healthier choice than sugar-sweetened beverages.", which is obviously a stupid argument. the real question is why you so desperately want to defend unnatural chemicals.
You could have posted better, more definitive sources.
correlation does not imply causation
Either you didn't vet the sources before posting, or you actually believe things like "vaccinations cause autism"
>hows it supposed to be done
You're supposed to post proof when asked to post proof, if you can't do this you're supposed to consneed that you don't know.
>the burden of proof
the burden of proof is always on the person making the claim, I can come out and say you're a huge homosexual, I can post supporting evidence by linking to your posts, but until I prove it you are not a homosexual just because I say so.
>pretty mute points
no, not really
>I have my own scientific integrity
Lol, but you don't understand how the burden of proof works?
Tbf thats pretty good bait. You fricking moron.
I walk away knowing what I know
you walk away learning nothing...
hmm I wonder who should feel morally invested to better themselves? me or you...
and the attitude that goes with it
you're just a greedy needy little baby aren't you
mommy has to bring the milker to your lips
and put the tit in
jesus grow up moron you think you won or did something there...newsflash its not a competition and if it were, you'd be losing because you cbf doing your own due diligence, just for yourself
I wake up knowing I'm right
Frick you
okay way to out yourself as a finished idiot
no wonder you have such entitlement
it pairs nicely with the delusions of grandeur
moron
I have a study that says you're moronic, the science is settled.
Just drink water homosexual
Ye, that doesnt mean they are good for you, or that you should drink a 2l bottle a day.
I sure hope they're alright, I drink like 8 of the frickers each day. I was raised on soda and while the switch to diet after my young man metabolism vanished wasn't a problem I can't give them up completely.
to be honest, I'm not so sure anymore
aspartame is a carcinogen in rodents in high doses. 20mg/kg dose they gave the rats for life isn't very high, that's like 10 cans a day for a human, and they still saw an increase in Lymphoma/Leukemia in those rats. and 40mg/kg was shown to affect test and sperm count in rodents.
studies that demonstrate negative impact of aspartame seem to be dismissed way too quickly
I'm pretty sure they don't use aspartame anymore
they use other derivatives of plant-based alcohols
sort of like stevia or erythritol or whatever the name is
anyways those are the ones that have now been proven to set on dementia/alzheimers in people in late age
Just switch to iced tea for the antioxidants, and make budget for a low calorie cordial/syrup with a natural flavor like peach or whatever.
I have a bottle of peach ice tea cordial right now, I need like 15ml to flavor a full 600ml mason jar of brewed and iced green tea. It only runs me 20 calories but it's worth it for 600ml of hydratation and satiation + antioxidants.
Even a lite lemon cordial or pure lemon juice as natural fructose and gives some amount of slight sweetness.
Just make your own drinks. If you're not making them at this point, you deserve for your body to be goyslopped.
Actually a good idea, will do this ty Anon
get yourself a big 1L+ enamel or heat resistant stone/steel tea pot
it'll save you a lot of time brewing just one batch a day
also get one of those big big ice cube silicon molds to cool it down much faster
so you can consume it pretty much 20-30 mins after it's brewed
make sure to let it brew long enough 15-20mins
experiment with cordials, only get those made from natural flavor extracts, light or low sugar.
The more you drink it, the more you will feel like you can get by with less and less cordial.
Safe brews anon
I'm still waiting on proof of your claim
>I'm pretty sure they don't use aspartame anymore
Coke Zero still does. Not sure about other brands.
Most "Zero" or diet drinks still do.
There was a limited run of coke sweetened with Stevia or whatever in the mid 10's.
The problem with those other sweeteners is that you can't replicate the same initial taste in sugar, with no calories, with what you mentioned.
>I DRINK 1 LITRE OF MOUNTAIN DEW NO SUGAR A DAY AND CAN'T STOP, HELP
Jews put something innit. Trust me.
nay
they mess with your body
sugar bad
fake sugar bad
You are being cucked by your own body if you drink these.
Forget whether or not aspartame is carcinogenic and instead ask yourself why you are consuming something that has at best zero nutritional value.
>I am unable to use my bodies taste receptors as gauges of a substance's nutritional quality. Instead I use synthetic sugars to trick them into activating the happy chemicals in my brain.
Well you're using synthetic interactions on this Thai hentai forum to trick your brain into activating happy chemicals. I think that puts having a diet soda into perspective.
At least I'm not spending money or impacting my digestive system.
just drink water brah
>you can't enjoy anything sweet
>even if it has 2kcal per 100ml
>you have to suffer while cutting
I hope none of you Black folk eat more than 40g of protein during your cut or you're eating protein just to feel saturated, you have to eat 1500kcal worth in hypoglycemic carb like rice on your cut.
The final redpill is to leave this board because all of you are stupid.
>artificial sweeteners
>enjoy
ngmi
just stop coping and learn to enjoy healthy traditional beverages instead
So wine with morphine like the romans?
>traditional beverages instead
Coke is like 100 years old, it's hardly traditional
Stop being a moron, there's no excuse to guzzle corn syrup / sugar
That shit is gross anyways, feels so sticky and sickly sweet
>tfw cutting
>had like 240g of protein yesterday
feels gr8
it fricks up your gut microbiome so avoid this shit
Avoid sodas like the plague.
Just drink iced tea or fruit juice if you want sweetness.
Carbonated drinks frick your teeth up because youre soaking them in acid.
>melt your brain rather than drink some calories
Literally all the research on why diet soda is bad are either:
>people who drink diet soda are fat, so it makes you fat
>aspartame, in a concentration orders of magnitude higher that any human would consume, gave rats cancer, so it gives you cancer
>the body might act like it's glucose (no evidence btw), so it might spike your insulin levels (no evidence, also doesn't matter btw), so it gives you beetus
Medical science might be moronic, but broscience is more moronic
Me not believing that anyone can be almost as good as sugar with zero downsides is still smarter than the both of you 2 combined
The lack of evidence on both sides makes it so that you can't really have a discussion about it with an outcome
But it is a fact that rats have very similar reactions to substances as humans, and yes, you really do only see fat people drink that shit whereas skinny/normal people pretty much always prefer normal coke
In that case looks who benefits the most from pushing these substances
>do these substances make me healthier and my life better?
>do the people who push these substances make enormous amounts of money from selling it?
>Poison does not have calories so it cannot be bad for me
This is your brain on CICO
>unironically drinking goyslurp
it doesnt matter
you piss out liquid "calories" they're imaginary
They haven't been around long enough to say with any certainty.
the correct answer
Still best to avoid them all together. Train yourself to only drink water and eventually you'll stop craving carbonated and sweet beverages.
