      He doesn't say to avoid it in the morning, he just says to wait an hour and a half after you wake up to drink coffee. Your raised cortisol in the morning already gives you energy, and having the coffee a while after you wake up prevents the midday crash that most people get. Which then in turn promotes better sleep since instead now you're getting tired later in the day, as you should.

      I listen to podcasts on my phone using newpipe so I have regular adblock but unfortunately they don't have sponsorblock. But even if I did have sponsor block, its still annoying how he bombards his podcasts with ads, especially in the intro. Like I'm hesitant to share his podcasts with friends because theyll listen to the first 5 minutes and just be like "wtf its all ads" *exit window*

    Problem with Academic podcasts is you have to deal with Academics; a very know-it-all smartass demographic that will discredit everything off of one misphrase. This goes for both the audience and his guests. His guests, academics, are obviously trying to shill their sales pitch research and he can’t push back too hard because the nerds are always looking for a way to outsmart someone else.
    Ads you can just skip they are timed to you know after X timeskips it’ll be over. It’s not rocket science lmfao
