Replied wrong, but it's silly to split your gains into fifths or sixths for convenience.
Muscle growth comes from sleep and within 24 hours, not out of how much effort you put in once a week.
Working out once a month isn't objectively terrible for gains, but it's entirely unnecessary.

Are people actually this moronic on this board now? He is an elite powerlifter. Powerlifter =/= bodybuilder. Obviously he is going to look like shit compared to a natty bodybuilder who has lifted as long as he has, because he has different fricking goals.

People here love to talk about genetics. Have you ever consistently gone to the gym on an actual program for more than 3 months? You can look good regardless of genetics.

Candito looks like a rectangle because of the nature of powerlifting. He trains the big 3 all the fricking time and few accessories, of course he will not have the aesthetic look that this board shills.

It's just kinda sad how shit powerlifters look and speaks volumes about how useless training the static lifts really is. The vast majority of athletes look way, way better. The point is powerlifting is a joke. These people aren't fit. Their training translates to nothing. Which shows in how shit they look. I'm not talking about bodybuilding aesthetics. I'm talking about looking like a human who is a high performance athlete. Which powerlifters don't. It's just a massive fricking cope to achieve goals (higher numbers) with the least amount of effort and dieting.

Power lifting is just focused on power range and never throws in considerable volume for muscle gains. You'll grow muscle power lifting but much slower. It's more geared towards using the muscle you have more efficiently.

and how's that a good thing? noob benching shitloads of weight, blowing up his shoulders - it isn't an good thing, good thing would be if they were taught bodybuilding training i.e. aiming for straining muscles not lifting weight x amounts of time

your goal, as a noob would be to achieve 40 seconds time under tension - do partial pushups for a minute straight and u'll see what i mean, u may do 10 u may do 50 - doesn't matter, do not lock or loosen for a minute
