It's lean body mass but morons always overestimate their lean body mass or just go with per lb body weight.

Eat as much as possible. Eat until you’re sick, and then once you start to feel a little better eat again. Eat beef, chicken, fish, eggs, rice, sweet potatoes, and bananas. Use real butter and pink salt. This will make you big.

.8 to 1 gram per pound of lean body weight or .5 to .8 per pound of body weight if you're not training for Mr Olympia and 3% body fat

      >.8 to 1 gram per pound of lean body weight or .5 to .8 per pound of body weight if you're not training for Mr Olympia and 3% body fat

False. 1g per pound of total bodyweight is what's been derived in lean, athletic populations of ~10-15% body fat. So you shouldn't need to make adjustments and if it's more than a rounding error for you then god help you

I guess I eat to little, but to me, not being able to drink any type of lactose or having whey protein, reaching more than 100gr daily is nightmare mode.

I'd have to have like 4 full meals a day, or eat 34 eggs to get around 170gr of protein.

Bull fricking shit. Go outside. See strong people that probably don't even get over 80. It's all genetics

Imagine having to eat all that every day, all weeks, for the rest of your life...

It's just not viable. I'll keep drinking raw eggs.

theres over a hundred grams of protein in a pound of chicken breast, and a pound isnt even that much to eat, you have to be anorexic to not be able to eat at least a pound a day

anon, u know lactose-free dairy and milk exists?

i have over 124g of protein every day with a low apetite and no whey protein, just from normal food, you're just dumb or too poor

eat oats, meat, eggs, rice, fish, pasta, quinoa, olive oil, avocados, some greens, and get some fricking lactose-free yogurt or milk

        Anonymous

Lactose free dairy is not lactose free, moron.
They just act an enzyme (lactase) so you can "tolerate" it better. If you knew what you're talking about you could say the best solution is to take lactase pills.

BUT what they don't tell you is that you can only consume "human" amounts of milk before lactase stops helping with this tolerance. IST milk consuming standards are beyond insane (as in drinking more than 500ml daily). These enzymes don't work that well if you go beyond 200ml. Probably less for yogurt for example.

I'm not sure why I'm even replying considered you just mentioned olive oil in your protein recommendation meals.

Again, there's no such thing as lactose free.

ok, enjoy your no gains if youre too lazy to eat less than a pound of chicken a day

If you eat a pound of chicken every day, in 3 months you'll want to have a nice day. You can't just eat the same shit forever.

          >If you eat a pound of chicken every day, in 3 months you'll want to have a nice day.
now youre talking out your ass. nobody is forcing you to eat a pound a day, you can eat less than that, and I was just using this as an example since chicken breast has so much protein, but if youre really so much of a b***h that eating even less than a pound of chicken is too much for you then you deserve to stay a dyel until you die

i wasn't just recommending protein meals goofy anon, i was merely signaling examples of what your diet could consist of

btw, vegan whey protein exists, and there's plenty of vegans who have enough protein in their diets and hit the gym

I'm going to educate you in a polite manner even though you don't deserve it.
Lactose free dairy contains insignificant amounts of lactose, thus they can be called lactose free. The enzymes are not added to help you digest lactose, their function is to break down the lactose present into its two constituent monosaccharides, glucose and galactose, before you consume it. After this process of pre-digestion, the lactose content is less than 0.01%.
Lactose free milk tastes sweeter than regular milk because the glucose + galactose solution is sweeter than the original lactose solution, and they're often a bit darker in color because the two monosaccharides are reducing sugars that facilitate the Maillard reaction.

Are you bulking or cutting? I like more when I cut and don't feel like I need the whole 1g per lbs when I'm bulking but that's my opinion. I gained over 30lbs of lean mass last year so obviously it works for me. I think as long as I'm getting my calories and a good amount of protein on a bulk I'm good.

Then why literally 99% of internet calculators make you enter your bodyweight and just say 1=1 for lbs? Like if you weight 200 lbs you need 200 grams.

      Everywhere it says that
