2.5 scoop protein shake

This is 60g of protein and I drink it daily. I read that my body cannot do anything with more than 40g of protein. Is this true?

I've read some studies that say this and others that seem to indicate the only thing that matters is overall consumption

Amino acid utilization is complex and yours can me measured by experts. I wouldn't ask online autists about such things, especially since I know how moronic people are on this particular board.

I spoke to one very anti-meat/keto etc vegan once. He said such things are immoral and should be banned. After inquiring he told me how he was once on keto and taking all of these protein powders, absurd amounts of that with eggs and the like and that it caused permanent kidney damage in him, also caused a stroke.

Some guidance or knowledge of the keto diet or nutrition, or why his goals and means were quite stupid could have saved him so much misery. Instead he did unnecessary bullshit to get something he never even attained irl.

Keto is a meme diet that works for what people were using it for 20+ years ago, as a short term way to break through plateaus and protein on this diet is drastically limited just like carbohydrates. No one told him this. Or, that he really doesn't need 180g of protein per day to be strong and healthy, simple shit like that. But he asked morons on this board, and his instincts were no good for this world.

Newer studies show we utilize protein with what we eat. But you probably don't need to pay money for a 60g protein drink. It's probably shit quality from onions or whey isolate (industrial waste tier). So why would you do it? Eat food my guy.

        lmao

I must be eating more than 100g of pure whey a day and eating chicken like crazy

No noticeable different from when I was just eating chicken

        Total scam

For fricks sake, stop eating chicken, they are for eggs. It has no nutritional benefit.

So it worked as intended? If you cannot sift the truth from the trolling, schizoposting, moxyposting morons then you have no business asking in the first place.
Its amazing how people have zero protective instincts or how they do not listen to their bodies at all.

Your first year in the gym you can make significant gains without proper nutrition. Try gaining muscle with subpar protein intake in year 2 or 3 and you will start to understand the need for high protein diet
