Is it over for me? I'm feeling pretty blackpilled on my genetics as this is the only progress I've made in a bit over 2 months of training hard 5x a week and eating at a small deficit. I know my nutrition isn't dialed in but I feel like I should have more noticeable muscle growth from my newbie gains
There is literally zero difference
Brutal
I want to be around 200lbs with visible abs ultimately. I'm trying to recomp right now instead of cutting so I can get use out of my newbie gains
you will not have visible abs at 200lb
I'm talking long term, years from now. Obviously if I cut straight down to 200 now I wouldn't have visible abs
well depends what your goal is. Anyway eat less while at the same time eating more protein. Do 1 meal per day with no snacks and you will lose weight
Do a prolonged fast
A bit of context, I started lifting November 27th. Top pics are from December 6th, bottom pics are February 9th
I've been on a 5 day brosplit and haven't missed a single workout. My numbers aren't even going up consistently from week to week anymore unless I eat a lot
I'm 6'3 and around 100kg. I eat between 160 and 210g of protein a day
Bro split with baby weight aint gonna work breh
What's baby weight? I do 3x10-12 on all my lifts and my last set is usually close to failure
>I know my nutrition isn't dialed in but
This is likely why. Try a steeper deficit (600-800)
Ehhh. I do bro split, but for my accessories I do 4x10-12. Should be struggling towards the end of each set.
I guess I shouldn't expect much visible progress yet with such a small deficit as I have so much fat hiding my muscle. I could definitely see more progress if I focused more on weight loss, thanks anon
Meh, could be worse. Don't let it get to you man
Are you tracking your weight regularly, and noticing a trend of minimal weight loss?
I weigh myself every morning but I don't track it no. In the first pic I was around 225, now I sit around 215. I need to focus on actually staying at a small deficit. My problem is prior to lifting I was starving myself for 3 months so now I always want to starve or binge
Tracking it and your calories + macros will be helpful. Congrats on the first 10
It sounds like you definitely need to focus on your dieting more. Deficit's good, but you also need to have your macros and whatnot. Keep it consistent.
I would suggest looking into some form of help, therapy/ etc. if your eating disorder becomes a serious problem
Nice workout routine retard. Why even come here if you aren't going to absorb any knowledge? You have essentially wasted 2 months, do a ppl or 3 day strength and shut the fuck up about genetics
I'm sort of on a modified ppl now.
Shoulders
Legs
Rest
Back/biceps
Chest/triceps
Legs
Rest
I'll switch to ppl at the end of the month
>2 months
holy fuck why is every zoomer an impatient fucking gay? you retards are actually hopeless
I'm not giving up I just want to know if this is good progression for the first 2 months. I'm still in it for the long haul
No one is going to be able to tell with 2 months. Maybe in a few cases but it takes at the very least three months for others to see progression.
you’re probably not lifting hard enough
i started on jan 1st and this is me rn
Wow anon, so much progress in that one picture of you flexing. I can really tell how far you've come in the time between you taking that picture and posting it
Your starting point is way better than mine, you won't even begin to even NOTICE changes until the 3 month mark. I personally did 5x for a year and then went down to 3x. The trick is getting a routine AND DIET that is both good for you AND you can stick to consistently. Realistically you will get decent results in 2 years. Sure you could go all out and train 2 hours a day 5x a week hardcore and it would take a year to get what you want, however you'd be more likely to just quit by then due to fatigue. Just keep going. Do as much as you can CONSISTENTLY do. You are skinny fat but not anything too bad, if anything you just look very average. You're still in your newbie gains phase so just cut. Once you get to a bodyfat percentage you're happy with then you can change things up or even consider a light bulk. Good luck and keep going. Remember that most people would see this and think it fine, not even bothering to better themselves, in that sense you are already ahead of most people.
your hips are way thinner, keep on lifting bro, you're a noob so you can play around with programs and grow anyway as long as you don't do something incredibly stupid like I don't know bicep curls and squats 5 days a week
Thanks anons, feeling whitepilled again
