Dude is a grade a coomer. He told people go to and jack it to porn and wrote some very interesting things in his magnum opus "Trip to Dallas".
        >She had been extensively modified over the past couple of years, specifically for sex. Her appearance had been enhanced and altered for the specific purpose of stimulating men to respond instantly to her: she had essentially been redesigned to make all men want to frick her. She had also been changed in ways that made her different to frick. The entire effect was quite irresistible to heterosexual men, and made many a gay man reconsider. And she had no use for women: they had no wieners, no cum for her.

            >the top lifters don't do this so it must be wrong
The top lifters don't do this because in USSR there was so much science and rivalry in sports that they investigated every possible way to lift weight, every possible training apparatus for weightlifting so if such detail like doing low bar squats would make any difference thay would notice and program it. They were collecting shit tons of statistics on antropometry, angles, forces applied and etc. You simply just never read any soviet book on weightlifting or their annual journal on weightlfting (I don't blame you because you don't know russian).

I dont think anyone who lifts more rhan average is weak. Of course depends what you do in life.
E.g. once i learnes that despite my lifting my armwrestling was shiit, i took interest in thhat and now imho coild be competing.

Some people just lift and never do anything aognoficant with their body. Lucky to have looks at least (the typical trope of weak/scared muscled man came to mind). Imho you need to have a bit of both.
To look good and to be strong.

I started with Starting Strength in 2016. Going to the gym for the first time was weird and all the trainers there were perplexed by the idea of starting strength and told me to just use machines as they couldn't be bothered to show me the right technique with deadlifts or rows.

Boomers and roided gym bros are usually the most positive people I meet in gyms. Gym bawds are god awful most of the time. I complimented one on her pull ups the other day and she looked at me like I was the scum of the earth.

Once you've been lifting for longer than 6 months you realize that you alternate between "bodybuilding" & "power lifter" type training and you'll look better because of it. People who actually like lifting and aren't new years tiktok teen bros posting on IST from their phone do whats fun and try new styles of training. >He was right about covid though

He was not. He's an idiot who thinks competence in strength coaching somehow qualifies him to have an informed opinion on the conduct of governments during a global pandemic.

Rippetoe has long been a proponent for "the strongest will survive". In the world he wanted to live in, millions more died due to COVID. In the world we're living in, those deaths were prevented by better qualified and smarter people. Rippetoe is not his brother's keeper, nor does he pretend to be aligned with that philosophy, but as a civilization and species we're judged by how we treat the weakest and most vulnerable among us, not the strongest. Frick him.

I know you incels want to believe some global cabal is secretly in charge of everything, and that's the reason you're such a failure, but you really have no one to blame but yourself.

That's why you can't let it go. Because if you do, you have no one to blame but yourself. It's not the jooz, or the demoncrats, or even mommy or daddy. You're the one thing all your problems have in common.

So what exactly is it about SS that makes the people who use the program turn out like this? Is it the low reps? Only doing compound lifts? GOMAD? I want to know the science

        Anonymous

It's a mental disease. Some stupid kids are convinced by online perverts that being 5' 9'' and 160 is a step away from death. So the kids change their focus and get some tunnel vision as their waist grows, their lifts become mediocre and their heart screams for help. Low reps, too fast progression, a lot of focus on the lower body, lack of accesory lifts, ... this are all secondary effects of the main disease: the brainrot into the cult of SS.

If someone wants to chase strength over everything they should go to Louie Simmons philosophy because he actually was and had trained champions unlike Rip.

        Anonymous

        >So what exactly is it about SS

Nothing. The perception is high lower-body volume and low upper-body volume, but that's bullshit. The problem is that the lower body more readily adapts to increased load. And that the upper-body lifts are just harder to train. In order from easiest to hardest to train: deadlift, squat, bench, press. So that means you can put more weight on the bar sooner if you pull the bar off the floor, or squat with it on your back. It's also harder to recover from upper-body lifts. Most people take years to develop a two plate press, even if they press two, three, or four times a week. But they can deadlift five plates long before that, and squat four, and even bench three.

The bros want a v-taper and biceps, but they're too weak to squat two plates. Frick that. Get strong. Do the fricking program, then move on to something else.

I think you meant "looking at their reflection in the mirror". We all know what the problem is here. Fricking narcissism. The quickest way to get the thots out of your gym is ban shapewear and recording of any kind. The quickest way to get the bros out is not hang a single mirror anywhere. The fricks.
