Nothing. Maybe some cravings here and there.
    Just drink more water.
Make sure when you come off the fast to not eat too much.

Extreme hunger, starvation, end the day with cannibalism, then death.

So water and try not to eat my family... got it
What about my gains? Can I lift heavy during my fast or the day after?

24 hours is a whole day. I typically eat every 4 to 6 hours. That's 4 hunger cues I'll have to go through each one worse than the last. Its a big deal. Not to mention i have family who will eat regularly. There will be temptations. Just trying to make sure I know what I'm in for

have you fasted before? Intermittent fasting? Have you done keto? How old are you?
Sure, lift heavy but make sure to eat afterwards

I've never fasted before. So this is all new to me

not him, but start slow. fasting gets easier over time. start off with improving your diet overall if it's pretty bad, that's the single best thing you can do. e.g. get rid of highly processed foods and added sugars for a couple days.

then spend a couple days eating lower carb, and then start your fasting by eating all your food within a 3-4 hour window (e.g. skip breakfast, eat lunch at 1pm and dinner at 4pm and that's it). that will give you pretty good results over time by itself, and once your body get accustomed to that in a couple days, going a full 24 hours is a piece of cake.

think about it as adding layers to your fasting system that will pay dividends over time. spend a week preparing your body and you will be better off than going on a 24 hour fast cold and binging for the next few days.

Bingo, go easy, keep it simple, and get good. I started with OMAD for a while before kicking over into 24's, which eventually became 48's, and now I can do a 72 with only a little discipline and craving on the last day. It also pays off during the periods you do eat. Fasting made it super easy for me to completely change my portion control issues, eating small is mentally much easier when your comparing it to not eating at all. And once eating small turned out to fill me up just fine, it was even easier to keep doing so.

A little goes a long way. And once you've got fasting being something you can reliably do for a couple days with little effort or prep, holidays/parties/whatever food and drink heavy festivals become a minor inconvenience instead of a diet tanker. Its super versatile to have in your tool kit.

24 hours is nothing. 48 hours is harder. 72 hours is easier than 48. By 96 you’re going to be very faint. I did a true fast with only water, broke it at 100 hours. Ate a light sandwich and felt full. Didn’t do any weird on ramp to eating. I was fine. It’s a good experience, and normalizes your relationship with food. I didn’t have cravings for garbage, though I didn’t fast to lose weight as I was already too thin; it was just a period of my anorexia.

I'm worried about trying to fast bc if I don't eat regularly my blood sugar drops and I feel like i'm gonna have a heart attack if I don't eat something.

I have a job, I can't be freaking out in the middle of teaching a class of kids. That being said I want to try fasting just for shits n gigs.

Some decent weight loss the next day followed by some water weight gain the day after that, but a net loss

Youll feel accomplished but also regret not going 3days. 2nd or 3rd day gets interesting. All the hunger goes away and you get more energy. Youll start realizing how much time is wasted around food and start doing more.

24 hours is nothing since the shit you ate the day before is still in your system.
