deenz are better than larger fish because the microplastics don't have as much time to bioaccumulate

Whoa bros...does anyone remember those cool stores in the malls from the late 90s early 00s with a bunch of nature/discovery/science stuff inside? There were fossils, exploration stuff, accurate stuffed animals? Sorry for a thread derail. The name, "Wild Planet" sparked a memory. Lemme go see if I can find what they were.

I think you're talking about the Discovery store, like the Discovery TV network. I used to drag my parents in all the time and look at all the cool educational toys that we couldn't afford.

You're buying the wrong brand, deenzlet. Get Season, or Nuri, if you feel like splurging.

i've never understood the deenz meme. they were never cheap, and eating canned sardines >2 times per week for several years is asking for heart disease. they're nutritionally inferior to a number of vegetables, and if you really want the Omega-3s, then just take fish oil supplements.

there is a reason these things have always had such a bad reputation. no amount of big-braining is going to change reality.

You sound like someone who has an agenda against the sardine industry; natural animal sources of omega-3s and protein will always be superior to processed supplements or fatty acids synthesized in a lab because our gastrointestinal tracts were adapted to digest them from fish after millennia of fishing.

and you sounds like one of those chuds who have a weird affinity for seafood despite it being neither healthier nor cheaper than meat and vegetables. the only people who shill for seafood are idiots who hail from some long dead seaside town.

I saw smoked sardines and bought 5 six packs.
What I didn't know about wild planet is that they don't de-bone their sardines so eating any can is like eating a fresh can of medical syringes.

I was eating a can on break when I got a work call, the jolt made two bones in my mouthful jam into the back of my tongue and I could barely speak.
Had to walk around for 5 more hours with fish bones stabbed into my tongue until I got home and tweezed them out.
    FRICK wild planet
