Obviously he searched for "protein per oz beef liver" or something and google spit out "25g" when the article it was sourcing was actually referring to 3oz

Isn't liver bad for you since it stores the heavy metals and other poisons it filtered for the animal?

Its good for you in small quantities but if you eat too much (and its not like too much is some ridiculous amount you could never realistically eat) it will poison you

No, that is exactly what makes liver a good type of food. It means you can eat liver and get a lot more of those substances than if you where to just eat meat. The same is true for most types of organ meat.
Its only bad if you eat too much of it, which as a modern urbanite is unlikely because you can't just go and buy it in the nearby store, and even then its a bit more work to make good food with it.

It doesn't store bad substances, fat is more likely to store poisons. The livers purpose in poison clearing is to chemically transmute poisons to deactivate them and make them water soluble for urination. It's posssibly the cleanest part of your body

please, don't eat more than 500g of liver a week
just focus on fatty cuts of beef and other organs
keep it low on the spleen too

You could literally eat 500g a day raw and be fine.

Why is that? It is tasty as fuck. Is there any other health related downside?
I mean, I got sick of chicken and I was thinking of replacing all my meat meals with beef liver. The mothefucker tastes amazing with some salt, pepper and onions in the air fryer.
