People like supernerd steroid expert Derek MPMD took frickloads of steroids at one point because he wanted to get as big as possible, but quickly realized that building muscle is 99% genetics and 1% diet/training/drugs so gave up because he is smart enough and didn't want to go bald for no results.
Then there are delusional morons like you who think it's just steroid dosage. They blast steroids all their life and look small and like trash. They are the know-it-alls that post on reddit /r/steroids and IST and will never make it.
Any fricking moron can train/eat enough and take drugs. You only need a 50 IQ for that. Black guys get huge with room temp IQs. Therefore the muscle building outcome is 99% genetics.
This indisputable fact has been proven by several studies, including this one.

This study on healthy natural men showed that hormone levels had absolutely nothing to do with how much muscle was built during a structured training program. The only determining factor was androgen receptor content in muscle.

Keep trying, one day you will find the secret to massive muscle gains bro I'm sure, it's iodine and ashwaghanda and sunning your testicles while training your body parts 2 reps short of failure for 11 sets every 42 hours, while getting in 1.69g of protein per kilo of lean muscle mass utilizing branch chained amino acids in the right ratio taken within 35 minutes of working out with oats and sweet potatoes. Just look at all the pathetic threads on the front page of IST.
It's totally not your genetics, keep trying for decades and waste your time and money and stress out about it for no reason like an autist while random black guy looks better than you without working out and eating McDonalds everyday while partying and doing drugs.

Here's a pic of another guy who is a super steroid nerd and nutrition/supplement autist expert guru who blasted steroids for years to try get huge as possible, but ended up half the size of the other guy, so quit and stayed on TRT because he was smart enough to realize he would not make it and would end up with health problems and baldness for looking like a bag of shit failed roider with shit genetics everywhere apart from shoulders. Why are his arms so fricking small despite blasting roids? Many natties have bigger arms than Derek the tren blaster.

            This proves that it's 99% genetics and 1% training/diet/supplements/drugs
Any fricking low IQ moron can train eat sleep and take supplements or inject steroids.
Millions of guys around the world blast megadoses of roids and look like shit and are literally half the size of genetic elite bodybuilders with myostatin deficiencies.
Millions of natties around the world train and eat right like autists and still look DYEL after a few years, but keep trying and have constant low level stress and anxiety (without realizing it in many cases) because they are not making it despite all the different training programs, diets and supplements and obsessing over details that don't matter.
You see it all the time here, people posting that they do everything right but after 3 years of working out they are still DYEL. Then they get bad advice in the replies like "you are doing something wrong, you are not eating or training right" like as if it's rocket science to lift weight and eat food.

Hey, did you know that if you find the right training program, eat the right diet and take enough drugs you can run sub 10 second 100 meter sprint?

                cope

Yes, following the latest lifting routine to a T, micromanaging your diet like an autist, taking your zinc, tongkat ali, icing your ballsac while nofapping, doing this for year after year of disappointing DYEL tier plateau, hopeful that the next new routine or diet or supplement will finally make the difference and unlock those muscle gains you always dreamed of, and maybe even eventually cracking under pressure and resorting to taking SARMS and steroids damaging your health, is a huge cope for not believing the 99% genetics golden rule.
Look, if you've been training and eating right for a few years and are DYEL still, just accept it. Don't fight it. It's not worth the mental stress and money. Stop with the supplements and autistic routines and diet. You can maintain your physique at home with calisthenics for free, saving you money on gym fees. No more need for supplements saving more money. No more need for weird rituals around working out like meal timing, and macro manipulation. Relax, just do some chins and dips or whatever a few times a week and put your time and energy into a different hobby, because building big muscles is just not for you and you won't notice any difference in your physique apart from more money in your pocket and less stress and concern and obsession about working out and building muscle.

And by you i mean DYEL's.

Veteran DYELs who think they can make it are mentally ill. There is a shit ton of them. They constantly post on IST with their stupid questions and ideas. The sad part is that most of them are not introspective enough to realize it's over. Total delusion.
                >That DYEL who looks the same year after year in the gym, he's doing occlusion training now for his arms with intra-workout BCAA and citrulline malate, after unsuccessfully trying Rich Piana's 8 hour arm workout, and prior to that German volume training, and prior to that PPLPPL, and prior to that starting strength, and prior to that a bro split. Man, you are an insufferable c**t. All your bullshit does not take into account that maybe, just maybe, people are lifting and building muscle out of fun, even knowing they might not have the perfect genetics. You may go and do your calisthenics stuff at home for 5 minutes a day, I will stick to lifting, no matter the outcome. In the end I just try to be the best man I can become, with all the limits my genetics give me. But striving to be the best possible version of myself is what makes me a man, while your whining and complaining and looking for justification makes you a sissy cuck.

                Anonymous

Autistically working out and dieting and taking supplements is not making you the best version of yourself. In fact it is more than likely counterproductive and making you a worse version of yourself in the long run. If there was an objective way of measuring "being the best man" (there isn't), you may be going backwards. By focusing so much of your attention on this aspect of your life you are taking away from others and possibly missing opportunities.

Oh no no no no no
Some DYELs actually lost muscle mass during this study where they did leg extensions three times a week for 9 weeks.

                https://europepmc.org/article/MED/20703498

Training a muscle damages the tissue which causes a loss of protein, then the body is supposed to rebuild it bigger and stronger by synthesizing new protein.
In some DYELs the muscle breaks down and doesn't grow back stronger causing a net loss of muscle mass LMAO

They are that skinny guy you always see at the gym working out hard but always stays skinny for years/
I had a friend like that, three of us use to go to the gym together straight out of high school when we first started working out. We all did the same training program, one of my friends made the best progress, I made ok progress and my other friend literally made zero progress. He gave up on the gym after about a year.

      > sumo

Caner that is killing powerlifting. Literally less rom than a super arched back on the bench press.

Roids are known to cause a much bigger response to load ranges in the 40-70% than when you're naturally. It's why bodybuilders stay in this range because risk of injury is low and they grow just as much doing work in this range than if they would go for the 70-85% range.

Honestly it's impressive from a 'you moved that much weight without injuring yourself' perspective. A lot of people might be able to lift that much but might not be able to do it without seriously injuring themselves. Sure, you could pull conventional and sure you could do it with a higher pull or a closer stanced sumo but you're still moving it. Carry on zumolifter

That's fine. Just post lifts, then. I'm sure you've got a formidable conventional pull.

Again, read [...] and [...], yes locking out that low is basically another lift, now look at this pic. Lockout below the balls, just like most conventional pullers.

There's a difference between these 3. OP pic is most likely using the latter

Nobody cares that your skeleton is built better for conventional. And if it's 'cheating' why don't you just start cheating? Is it cuz ur not actually better at sumo and you're just talking out of your ass?

They really need to make stricter rules and get rid of shit like this. Conventional or not a dead lift or at least create two separate categories... Same thing with bench... It's even worse only way to fix it is to mandate flat close grip or something.

      New powerlifting league.
      Lifts are:
Highbar ATG squat hams must tough calf's at bottom.
Conventional deadlift (feet must be within shoulders) double overhand or nothing.
Bench grip must be within first set of rings if under 220lbs and no lift off.

      Fixes power lifting.

        >double overhand

        Anonymous

Squats are the only lift in powerlifting that doesn’t need significant changes. ATG is unnecessary and will take away from training when getting hip crease under the knee is the best for training and measuring strength.
Bench could have a grip width limit based on wingspan, maybe with other contributing factors. Also an arch limit and a ROM all the way to one’s chest.
Maybe sumo remains, but counts less towards your score than a regular deadlift. Not by a lot like the people mad about it want but like 10-15% to make up for the typical advantage it gives.
