if you have gluten intolerance of any kind you will fricking die. it is literally 100% gluten
also I think the amino acid profile leaves something to be desired but that's probably just god dabbing on vegans

Lol no it isn't. Full blown shit your pants bloody with diarrhea celiac is rare. Lower levels of intolerance is extremely common. It's highly inflammatory to most people due to increased intestinal permeability caused by the gluten increasing zonulin in the intestines.

Post a study actually showing people with “minor intolerance”. It’s all nocebo bullshit. This is literally gluten, the bioavailability of this stuff is similar to onions proteins.

Animal proteins have all essential amino acids so this is only a problem with plant proteins

Does a deficiency a single amino acid—which can be gotten from other proteins—really make something 40% as effective?

Which literally makes it useless. Unless you have all them, they arent used to build cells. They get converted to sugar and stored in body fat. You'd have to pair that food, with whatever is high in that one missing amino acid and double down.

Elimination diet in the way that you pretty much scale down to just beef. Then add ingredients ony-by-one, such as white rice and/or peeled potatoes for carbs which seem to be the most best digesting or neutral in general. Then if youre doing good with those, try adding some eggs, then fruits etc. over the weeks. You have to be the guinea pig if you actually want to find out what suits you and what doesnt.

vegetable protein is a scam. It doesn't have all the amino acids to create a full animal protein, so you have to eat different types of vegetables to get the missing amino acids. The problem is that this is way less efficient because 75g of protein won't be 75g of protein, it will maybe be 35g of protein if you also eat potatoes or something.

The catch is, it's a VERY low-quality protein source (you're not going to actually absorb all of it, about 1/3 or more will never be utilized), and it sits like FRICKING LEAD in your gut when you eat a lot of it.
When I was a vegan who trained heavy years ago, I lived on that shit, but after a while, it gave me massive indigestion. And, if you're one of those people who doesn't handle wheat/gluten well, then you're fricked because that's EXACTLY what it is.
Let's say, it's not the worst plant protein, but not the best, I try it again about once a year and remember instantly why I gave up being vegan a decade ago.

  32. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

It is such poor quality protein it shouldn't really be called protein, misleading marketing. A slice of bread is supposed to have about 5g of protein, imagine thinking you can eat a couple of loaves per day for protein and make gains. Veganism is mental illness for the adherents and profit for the israelites who promote it.
