    Damn
Black folk really be taking the "it's over" meme seriously
Don't push yourself OP, wait until the strain fully heals. Trust me; i fricked up my elbow and tried to bench/dip before it fully healed. Wounded up taking an 8+ month hiatus from most chest workouts.

Yeah thats what im doing right now. Just taking it easy and doing the stretching. Some light cardio and light things like curls few others for upper. Idk how long itll take. I didnt get a timeline. Didnt even ask.

After a week or 2 do your normal shoulder workouts but at a very light weight and slowly increase it.
If you hit your normal weight range with no pain at all then your good.
If you start to feel pain when incrementing the weights then either only do lightweight workouts or just give it another week or 2.
It's basically trial and error with this sort of stuff.

Tweaked my left anterior delt going to muscular failure on dips but it's mostly better a few days later. Left lat is tight so I think that may have been what caused it. Doing some stretches and external rotation exercises to make sure that injury doesn't happen again. Glad to hear that your injury healed up OP

It still hurts a bit but its not bad as it was and isnt discomforting. The external rotations. Ive been doing that also. I got a few therabands and know a few physical therapy moves myself. Helps alot. More people should know about these basic exercises anon.

Focusing on track this summer season (aus) so doing a lot of strengthening/pre habilitation work for all my leg muscles with upper body work few times a week so I'll be in top shape when the meets start up soon. Currently feeling great body wise, just my calves the only problematic muscles but thats cause I'm doing barefoot running.
Good to hear you're healing up OP

What did you do on the track team?? Also barefoot running did you do that on the grass? I see a guy at my local park who sprints while running barefoot. Like short sprints 100 meters or something idk.

Alright ill try this. I personally dont really have a shoulder routine. I mean i bust out a arnold press now and then etc. Or raises with really light weights but i mostly just did stuff like incline bench or seated rows. To kinda just hit everything.

My shoulder's still fricked. Front raises are unstable and hurt like hell with anything more than 5lbs. I have an MRI at the end of September but I'm pretty sure I'll need surgery again, physio isn't doing shit anymore.

Ahh anon i hope you get better. Sounds like something bad really did happen. Can you at least still do the therapy? Before the mri? Or is it becoming a total no go??

I'm still doing physio once every couple weeks, but progress has stagnated. All they can really do is just give me some more stretches to try. Worst case scenario for me would be them not finding anything wrong, or seeing something but deciding it's not worth operating on. Although if the latter happens then I can just go balls to the wall and make it something worth operating on.

I think theyre gonna find something anon. If youre that weak. When they did those push pull tests on you i bet they had some kind of idea. Also if keeping your arm raised is unstable. Theres something for sure. Cause even with those push pull tests they do and some therapy. Theyre sttill kinda guessing until the mri.

I've got a torn rotator cuff, torn hamstring and a bruised tibial plateau. I'm still working out the best I can but some days are getting pretty dark bro. Been a real struggle because I did my shoulder over a year ago

Damn are you doing any kinda therapy for this ??

I've got physio every day for the shoulder and every 2 days for the knee. The tear in the hamstring is relatively minor so should heal just fine.
It's more the mental toll it's having, had to pull out of an Olympic trial for Taekwondo because of the shoulder injury and I'm not sure I'll get another chance

Oh damn op. Im sorry to hear that man. And good youre getting therapy. So youre pretty high level with tae kwon do. Do you do other stuff to? Like boxing or kick boxing?

I do a bit of Muay Thai, BJJ and MMA but Taekwondo is my main martial art. I just like to fight people so it's kind of fricking me up that I can't, also lost 30kg on my bench press from the injury
