A lot of consecutive pushups

How the frick can you do 200 pushups consecutively. Like what kind of training do you need to do? (I know this is a movie but somebody out there is doing that)

Do shitty pushups like the Guinness record, be skelly mode, and practice. That's literally it.

You can't. It's far past the upper limit of human endurance.
    >I know this is a movie but somebody out there is doing that
    No they aren't.

No it's not. Yes people are. The most I've seen in person was one guy in my unit did over 110 pushups, everyone was like holy shit he literally did 1 per second and did not fricking falter. Me? I did 71.

What is it with soldiers and not knowing shit about fitness? A guy doing 111 does not mean that an 80% increase to 200 is totally possible just drink the kool-aid hooah battle buddy.

It’s probably not impossible but it would take a absurd amount of just training push ups for endurance. I’m sure there is some obsessed autist out there who just trained push ups for years who can do it, but it’s not worth the effort.

The most fit guys in the military can do around 120-130. It’s not uncommon for Devgru guys to knock out 120+ push ups and 30+ pull ups. Probably not strict form though.

Yeah they can do those meme military pushups with bad form. Real ones 70 is probably the max

The realistic max for full rom pushups in 2 minutes is 100. If somebody says they do 90 something then they're the real deal, and also a manlet. And it's worth noting that it's still moronic because you have to fall through the eccentric and catch yourself at the bottom which is the opposite of working out.

Alright motherfricker let's see your 100 consecutive pushups with a slow and controlled eccentric. Or a video of anyone doing it. Or just shut the frick up about shit you don't know.

in high school gym class one of my classmates pulled off 300 in a row. it was during one of the fitness tests we did a few times each year. the teachers would measure how many pushups, situps, pullups, etc we could do at once. the first test was pushups, and he took the entire class period to manage 300. because of that the rest of the class was able to just sit around and wait for him to finish, then there was no time left to do any of the other tests.

a lot of us lazy people were thankful he did that so we didn't have to do the rest of the tests.

I can do 50 nose touches, pretty fast although I'm 31 and could only do 40ish in the army 10ish years ago. Anyhow, I've been in the infantry and jail and known a lot of turbo pushup 165lb guys but I have never seen anyone get 100 clean.
100 of those super fast tiny black guy push ups yeah, but not clean. After 50 or 60 it gets like taking 10 secs off a trained rowers 500.
      Hope you get it anon.

I'm this guy and just realized you asked about 200. Short of a miracle I dont see it happening man. Consecutive is just too different from say 2 min.

i was able to do ~95 pushups in two minutes when i was a skelly preparing for basic training. if i could take a relatively relaxed pace with specialized training, it doesn't seem impossible.

I do the 5/4/3/2/1 routine. 500 mountain climbers. 400 situps, 300 pushups, 200 squats and 100 bench-presses a day. I do other shit too, but that's my "lazy day" default.
