        They heat it and strain it to make it easier to transport and more "shelf-stable" (which I don't understand because honey doesn't expire). They also mix it with "honey" from different continents (this makes it cheaper somehow).

        This pale, thin liquid is the end result. This is what most honey in the US is like, and you have to go to higher-end grocery stores or directly to apiaries to buy good honey. Real honey just isn't found in normal grocery stores.
