If it's too hard, roll out on a slope.
this exercise hurts my lower back (as in my spine not my muscles), what is the proper form?
Maintain a posterior pelvic tilt.
just do something else that targets your core
That's what I've been doing, was just wondering if there was a fix for this.
Stop being weak
do you also have lower back pain when you do plank or do hanging leg raises ?
I found that contracting my abs to the max and rounding my back helps me tremendously.
Are these things worth it? It's something my fat boomer mother swore by so I always thought it was garbage?
Also do they make you taller by helping extend the spine or is that a meme too?
It's a good core exercise when done right, but you don't need it if you're already doing other stuff for abs.
It does not extend the spine in any way.
Absolutely worth it. It works your core AND your shoulders
whats the difference between all these if on the outside it looks pretty much similar? Is there ball bearings of varying resistance on the inside? I need to know.
The musclemancer has enchanted them with different levels of resistance
Now you've just left me with even more questions. I think I'll pop mine open tomorrow to see exactly what kind of dark magic is about.
I thought that the wheel was of different width or thickness at first, hence rendering the exercise harder from a balance perspective and thus mobilizing the core more, but it seems they are all about the same size at least on the pictures.
So we'll see.
He's full of shit, they're all the same.
yeah, now I'm more inclined to investigate inside to see if there is actually any perceptible difference but I was giving it the benefit of the doubt i suppose, at least until I can eliminate the possibility of ball bearings of various amounts in each product category. But yes, definitely feels like a ''put on a different color'' schtick so you can get people to buy 5 incrementally as they supposedly progress through difficulty levels, when really they only needed to buy 1.
I guess it multiplies profits...the plot thickens.
t. stuck on green and seething about it
I actually purchased the red one. Not that it matters, actually...
yes it does the red one only works your upper abs lmao
I want that image so much to not be fake
frick!! im a noob and i get the red one, i think now i know why it feels so fricking hard
start from your knees like you’re doing a girl push-up until it gets easier, keep a tight core, maintain a nice plank position, and go slow.
why is that moron doing rolls on a steering wheel?
i have a gray one, it is over for me
Olive green, pure green, teal green are all fine novice wheels. Just make sure you STAY THE FRICK AWAY from Neon Green. No idea why they made an exception for the color grade but that shit is olympian level difficulty. I wasted 20 dollars on one.
That was my thread. I'm proud
A WEPAON TO SURPASS METAL GEAR
How many years do I need before I'm ready for one of these?
how do you get to feel these in your abs? I have one, but honestly it hits my shoulders and arms more
Don't move your arms use your core to pull back.
how the frick are you not supposed to use your arms on this you cant move your arms with just your core even in the OP image the guys arms are moved
If you really suck at it get the cheat version. The spring coil will help but don’t become over reliant on it. Same way a cheat curl some of the time can help but a cheat curl all of the time just lets you swing your arms around.
