    why are you fighting?

The better question would be why not?
Besides the health benefits, it also makes your self-esteem and testosterone increase because you spar and fight with other guys, some even more powerful than you.

Why aren't more people taking a full-contact martial art/sport? It's in our nature to be aggressive and fighting helps us fulfill that need. As a man, it helps you tremendously to know that you can carry yourself if a fight escalates and that you at least won't be just a bag of meat that'll fall down at the lightest punch or that you won't freeze. You'll just have the confidence that you can actually fight someone if you need to.

If you were a kid and fought and succeeded in fighting it would've given you a bigger dick. Even just intense larp fighting.

Fighting is a good exercise to. Ir let’s off a lot of steam. I don’t know why people don’t do this in general, but I do know that your mother will die in her sleep if you do not reply to this post.

    >practicing a combat sport to fight IN DA STREETZ
fucking cringe, imagine risking your health to gain respect from a bunch of retards at the pub in a fight where no honor is involved

It's not necessarly to fight in the street, but to protect yourself or your loved ones in case shit hits the fan. Of course, it's always the best thing to de-escalate any situation and find a peaceful resolution, but sometimes you can't do that. A lot of the people are saying, "Oh, just run, run, it's the best thing to do!", yeah good, but sometimes you can't just run. Because that's some retarded advice, like you are walking down the street with your girl, and some guys are starting shit with you for no reason, obviously you either try to ignore them or de-escalate, but they just get straight in your face and they want to fight you. You can't just run like a retard, you'll be forced to take action, and if you're not prepared, you'll just drop like a sack of potatoes from a sucker punch.

Any of these would make 20 years of combat sports experience useless in DA STREETZ. Btw I'm saying this as someone who boxes 4 times a week.

This just happened a couple of months ago and completely invalidates your entire point. Someone trained can easy beat 2 people. He was laughing while he chased the second guy, who had a knife.

Yep. Once in college I almost got in a street fight but I decided to pussy out and de-escalate because we were right next to the road and he had two friends and I figured one of us was going to end up in the road and hit by a car and thus I would either be dead, paralyzed, or going to prison for a very long time. Not worth it. The girl I was defending ended up cheating on me and leaving me so it was absolutely not worth it. Also, I hate women so much it's unreal.

guy doesn't even cover his face since first round, wtf

I'm no striker but I think he did that because he was much taller than his opponent and had a bigger reach, so his defense was more focused on where Jean would rather be able to hit.

      No defense
      No footwork

      >Benoit

      Loses balance
Gets caught in the clinch too often

Honestly, Andrew "The Chinless Wonder" Tate has no right to be bragging about being a """professional""" kickboxer.

Tate is a pretty low level pro. Becoming a pimp, which he is clearly better at, instead of getting hit in the head is quite understandable. However, even a low level pro is better than most people on the planet.

Tate couldn't even beat a washed up ex-wrestler in a sport he, Tate, has been training for. I doubt he is better than most people on the planet.

If you are semi fit and have trained kickboxing for a year you are better at kickboxing than 95% of humans probably.

In some "literal who" promotions, even more literal who than the random Chinese ones Adesanya fought in. It's not like he made it to K1, Glory, or had a strong Lumpinee run.

He's bad-mediocre by pro standards, which is still admirable. Making weight, putting in the roadwork, and fighting similarly driven and skilled people puts him a cut above the normal "I just see red bro" guy.

he only fought romanian taxi drivers in some backyard promotions.
