Adductors

Why are these so rarely in programs posted here?
I was thinking of doing them mostly for mobility since my muscles down there are extremly tight and might be affecting my erections by limiting blood flow

Also any anons that do this, any tips?

These get worked when you do squats you mong. You need to work on mobility if they feel tight.

Let me guess. You think squats are enough for calfs and deadlifts are enough for hamstrings

Because people think squats are a full, total lower body exercise without understanding that you actually have to train the muscles full rom and not just use it as a stabilizer.

Why would they give these the name as abs. I was confused

"Adduction" is a word that means pulling something to the center of your body line. The hip adductors are muscles cross in the hip joint which draw the knees to the center line of your body.
Idk what fricking ab muscle you think is called an "adductor" though.

He's probably talking about hip abductors.

I have to work those in due to an old groin injury that didn't heal quite right. Normally I'd say most people don't have to do them.

Yes. Thinking about it now, I have a 36 inch inseam. my guess is that compared to someone with shorter legs I have a mechanical advantage on this machine in the same way I have a mechanical disadvantage squatting.

Probably. I'm the same and I maxed out the leg extension machine (for only 5 though) in highschool when I had literally zero muscle, whereas I could leg press maybe if 200lbs

One is "made" for women, the other is a pretty technical lower body compound.

This past weekend I used the machine for the first time in my life. It hurt to walk for 4 days. Wouldn't recommend.

I had to work adductors and abductors in order to be able to do pistol squats. If anyone is having trouble with one-legged work try working your 'ductions.

Pain in general, or during certain movements?

General. Just started a few days ago.

Might go away on it's own then. By all means try working the muscle, but pay close attention to how it feels before, during, and after the exercises. You may just need to stretch that area more too.

    is this bro science?

Yes. Why would a muscle in your thigh affect blood flow to your groin? This dude is probably a fat frick LARPing as someone who lifts.
