take care of your skin, lift, eat right. If you're a man it usually gets better, 30s and 40s can be a lot of fun, 50s and 60s too but they usually are more calm. After that it goes south for everybody.

no imbecile, asians barely eat any carb that is not rice compared to us.
rice is only like 20% of what they eat, the rest are veggies and mainly fish as meat and the most important thing the do for aside from that absurdly healthy diet is that they barely eat. eating itself is the most aging thing we do.
Now the people who actually have good anti aging genetics are italians and greeks who fricking eat carbs like there is no tomorrow and probably twice the portions asians eat but live longer than all people in the world but Japanese

            Anonymous

don't forget lots of healthy fats from olive oil and butter. afaik the japs don't have an equivalent to that practice, although fish of course contains healthy fats. still I'm assuming overall italians and greeks consume a lot more fats than the japanese do.

No or low carbs. VERY low simple sugars (glucose/fructose.
    No smoking/drugs/alcohol.
    Sleep a lot.
Exercise a lot- low, medium intensity and some high intensity every now and then.
Get enough vit C, ideally from low sugar sources but a glass of orange juice a day is probably fine if you are not consuming other sugars.
Lots of protein, mainly from animal sources. Lots of (whole) milk, eggs, meat (milk and eggs also contain biotin which is good for anti-aging). No vegetable oil only lard, butter and olive oil.
Apply some form of topical retinol and also get enough dietary vitamin A.
Drink enough water. You don't have to go mad but just don't be dehydrated, because fine lines will appear on the skin and the longer you are dehydrated the deeper they will go.

At the end of the day genetics is an element also but what can you do about that. You either have good or bad genes.

Nobody expects that he will turn into a 60yo Sean Connery if he runs and eats well, because genetics obv play their role.

        Anonymous

I never said exercise and diet were unimportant, I said muh stretching and cardio rather than strength were memes. I think strength training is probably the most important thing you can do as opposed to the conventional wisdom of giving that up and doing morning walks instead.

  22. 2 years ago
    Anonymous

Most important thing against aging is acceptable genetics (not being anglo will do) and don’t expose yourself like a moron to the sun like some people here advice (if you do then use sunscreen).
those are the two most inportant things, you can also maximise it with diet and a good skincare routine but they are not that important and influential as people believe in “looking good”, diet is important in living longer but not that important in looking as young as possible.
And well…. try to keep your hair.

      Anonymous

      >Not exposing yourself to the sun
Most people who don't get enough sun in the first place live in countries that don't even give enough sun to have stable vit D levels year round. You need vit D for a healthy skin.
Sorry but you haven't even begun to know anything about anti-aging.

        >This moron thinks that i said to never come out of his out ever again
You need some sun because you need vitamin D but exposing yourself recklessly or taking tans like some people do will age tou faster.
some people here rell you to be in the fricking sun for hours when you only need 15-20min of sun per day to meet your requirement.
        you clearly have no clue.
        >Muh anglos and some euros age like shit and have no sun

I swear the age of consent is a conspiracy plot by old women. Once they hit 25 they go downhill, fast. Of course they'd make it illegal to go for women in the prime, they can't compete.

Most people go downhill by 25 due to lifestyle choices. But it is true that older women try to nerf younger women and have half-naked models banned from ads. I remember some anecdote about why the sexy woman scene is going away from Cinema and why "guy takes off shirt scene" is popular, it is because men like seeing Chad men while opposite does not play as well with all female audiences. Bait like this age thing does drive women absolutely insane though so be careful. The solution is unironically to put a baby in them and their priorities change as they focus on childrearing and not other women as much.

Anon, you will slowly get weaker, ache more, feel more fatigued, and deteriorate until your body gives out and you die. It is the fate of every single person on the planet. You will age. Your face will get craggly, your hair will go white/gray and likely fall out to some degree. Your nose and ears will continue to grow and make your face look weird compared to your younger self. You will become more and more physically limited and have to work around it so you can still stay relatively fit but not harm yourself more via exercise in your brittle condition. There is nothing positive waiting for you with the march of time. Make hay while the sun shines and enjoy your youth. Death comes for us all and stops for nobody.

From most important to least important: low stress, good nutrition, low daily caloric intake, regular exercise, good sleep, sun exposure, and regular socialization.

Exercise is overemphasized, but it is of particular import today because the average person lives sedentarily - unnaturally. Furthermore, it has the benefit of relieving stress within the body, which I think is the true reason it is considered the holy grail of health in the modern world. People telling you ITT to get on X regimen will probably do more harm than good in the long run: just get moving, and if you're young, do some intermittent strength and conditioning - nothing complicated.
