    i have scoliosis and my ribcage has a tilt imbalance and barbell exercises make me feel pain, im forced to use dumbbells so I don't injure myself. havent touched a barbell in 5 years of lifting, either dumbells, cables or machines.

    I found out yesterday, powerlifters don't even consider ROM real. Multiple people argued with me that levers don't exist and 200lbs moving one inch is the same as 100lbs moving twenty inches. I've seen them post F=ma 100 times because of westside but apparently, they've never got past the first page of Physics for high schoolers. I feel like this board is nothing but high school dropouts.

      Ironically "power"lifting isn't even about power according to the actual definition of power in physics, unlike olympic weightlifting.

      I'm slowly starting to believe that powerlifting as a whole is a massive prank in fitness gone too far.
