Alternative to whey?

what is the best alternative for whey? whey gives me the shits so I need something else, but everything else seems no where near as effective in terms of price x protein.

so basically more meat, the main reason why I drink whey is easier to make and drink a shake than it is to cook and eat a steak.

Theres a bible quote about "meat for strong men, milk for babes".
That being said, you are right, and I'm not a yuge eater myself, and I love muh protein shakes.

You get the shits because you are lactose intolerant. Take hydrolized whey or take lactase pills. I use the kirkland brand from costco, 1 pill per scoop and my stomach is fine

Pea protein. Slightly more expensive but at least you're not eating the waste from industrial cheese factories.

If you don't have a lot a muscle anyway, use whey, if you do, eat meat because it contains more calories. Whey is good for cuts and beginners and people that are fed up of what they eat every day and people that don't like to eat or cook.

depends on how much you like eating chicken or ground beef.

i eat a lot of fish like salmon, sardines and seafood like oysters daily
occasionally chicken breast or beef steak
i counted my protein consumption and it's more than enough so i guess i don't need whey

I've found greek yogurt and skyr brands that have the same protein per calorie per dollar ratio as whey. 0 prep needed too. sometimes I even combine protein powder with the skyr for a cold ice cream type snack and it has insane macros
