Any?

I'm on verapamil right now, but it's not working. Any success with other medications?

The only thing on this earth that fixes them for me is 1 imigran tablet (migratan) and 2 anadin 'extra' taken all at once, every 4 hours until its gone. Diagnosed sufferer.

Alternatively find out what it is in your diet that causes it and cut it out entirely. It's often wheat consumption or caffeine withdrawal, and people dont even realise it.

Work out your eye like its a muscle. left right, up down, circles left right diagonal left right, right left. Each about 5 reps every day.

Also it might be a loose retina though...

Try microdosing shrooms. My brother has sworn by it and there's more research coming out.

Came here to say this. Shrooms and LSD have been shown to help with cluster headaches along with other medical issues such as PTSD and depression

Shrooms, unironically. I take one large dose of 5-7 grams dried every 3-4 months. It's been years since I had a severe headache. Shit changed my life. Plus it's pretty fun.

For immediate relief, initiate brain freeze with ice cubes/cream (works better). the resulting blood pressure spike and vessel dilation surge will “reset” your head and you’ll feel better. However, you want to fix the real problem, which (if you grew up like me) is that you are chronically anemic with poor electrolyte balance. You need to drink more water than you do, like a lot more, and eat enough potassium to balance your salt intake, but also eat enough food overall to maintain proper blood sugar, iron etc.

Listen here, I may be one of the few people on this board with true cluster headache, I've had this shit since I was in my early 20's and without medication, it was absolute insanity. I was considered taking my own life if it was the new norm, never experienced pain so humbling in my life. Wanted to gorge my eye out with my own fingers if it meant stopping the pain, I didn't even know it was possible for pain to be that intense. Anyways, many ER visits, and neurologists later I have found a solid therapy that works for me.

    >Preventative
CGRP Inhibitors, these are new meds but they are the frickings bees knees my man, these drugs alone have drastically changed my life, I take Emgality (cluster dose) every 4ish months and they've cut my headaches down to damn near nill. Try them, i've been on verapamil, lithium, indomethacin, TCAs, nothing worked anywhere even near as good as this new shit.

    >Abortive
Sumatriptan Injections, don't frick around with the nasal or tablets, the injection knocks that shit out within 10 minutes or less of onset. EARLIER THE BETTER

Some can figure out their cluster seasons, their triggers etc. My seasons are mostly late winter/spring, and my biggest trigger is alcohol and too much sleep when I'm in that season. Some people will say some shit about try microdosing lsd/psilocybin, didn't do shit for me I microdosed, regular dosed, hell I even hero dosed, still got the frickers. Try the CGRP meds and keep injectable suma on hand and you should be chillin.

ALSO pure O2 through a non-rebreather mask can help and serve as an abortive if taken early/on onset.

I'll monitor this thread for a little if you have questions, good luck

CBD oil unironically helped me with mine to prevent them from starting or to help fall asleep before they start
I havent found anything that works when they’re already on progress though, tried anything, only thing I can do is hope to fall asleep

My cluster headaches went away when I started to use a humidifier in my room while sleeping. My cluster season is late winter and I found out that the dryness in the air is the trigger. As long as I did the humidifier, my cluster headaches ceased.
