Any Rock or Metal fans here who workout to this kind of music? If so, what bands do you turn up on your earphones when working out?

For me, I'm quite partial to Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and The Distillers to name a few

I hate that sjw narcissistic homosexual like you wouldn't believe.

        I'm so happy he's dead!
If he didn't have the decency to blow his head off, Foo Fighters would have never released their much better music and we'd be stuck here reading Kurt's tweets about how "Orange Man bad" sent from CHAZ.
Thanks Kurt, you dyel söyboy. The world truly is much better without you.

For working out I like to go hardcore. Slipknot, TOOL, Korn etc.
If you're working with Alice in Chains, STP, etc. then Deftones, Soundgarden, Nirvana (ofc) also work.

I actually do listen to them as well when I workout, especially Deftones

Well keep on bumping that shit.
Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, and Radiohead (depending on the album) work as well.

Definitely feel that on smashing pumpkins and Foo fighters, not so much Radiohead when it comes to working out though lol.

Radiohead is interesting. Only album I can imagine working out to is The Bends

Slipknot and deftones go quite hard, really help to make me get all crazy. This might be up your guys' alley:

Personally, I have hit many PR's to Whitney Houston and classical / orchestral stuff, really gets shit pumping. But usually just whatever I am currently listening too.

Fricking based. The nuttiest PR attempts I’ve had have been to orchestral or instrumental music.
          Pruitt Igoe is the one.
If you have Spotify It’s Pruitt Igoe - Koyanisqatsi

          >Slipknot and Deftones go quite hard

They definitely do. With Deftones, the songs that really get me amped during a workout are "My Own Summer (Shove it)", "Back to School", and "Be Quiet and Drive". With Slipknot it's always "Duality", "Before I Forget", "Pulse of the Maggots", "Psychosocial" and newly (for me in terms of adding to my workout), "Dead Memories".

Another band that totally gets me pumped is Incubus

I exclusively listen to Power Metal during sports. High BPM for running, roaring and uplifting choruses for cracking PRs.

Here is a small unknown favourite of mine, the singer later went to Beast in Black which is SHIT in comparison, but the new singer in the second song is good aswell

I'm honestly not too familiar with power metal . I admit I'm not a huge metal person in comparison to Alternative Rock but that sounds good to workout or sooner with

Currently listening to Judas Priest. Nothing quite as kino as hitting heavy sets with Turbo Lover as the sound track.

Judas Priest is a good choice, I listen to them sometimes as well when working out. I'm also gonna throw Ratt and Skid Row into the mix as well, when I'm in an 80s Glam metal/rock mood, they're my go-tos

Also Beast in Black and Sabaton

Ah I remember this band. Sadly I couldn't get into them for some reason, they just didn't do it for me but I'll give them another try sometime soon.

      Brooooo!!
I've been using MEGITSUNE as my squat 5rep PR song for 2 years now.
My PR attempts are slow and grueling because i rest up to 40 seconds between reps to catch my breath and brace for the next rep. It's like 5 consecutive singles.
Only BABYMETAL can keep me motivated enough to keep going after the 2nd rep of this shit.
Another favorite song for heavy lifts is PAPAYA.

      All hail Fox God >^.^<

A favorite of mine is Battle Hymns by Manowar for when I need to really get that last set in.

      Cool haha.

I have a ton of metal, used to be big on metallica and a7x. Was really into power metal in 2020. Now the main metal I listen to when lifting is slipknot or cannibal corpse, although death metal is honestly not the best genre for gym tunes

That's cool.. I'm admittedly not a big Metalhead myself, I mainly like a lot of the basic Metal bands one would think of, singles and all. I was always more into Alt. Rock than Metal but Metal fans fascinate me with how deep their love can go for the genre.
And I never liked Death Metal all that much altogether so I couldn't imagine listening to it while working out lol.

Mastodon, tremonti, of mice and men, breaking Benjamin, Bruce dickinson. I listen to a shit ton of metal both at the gym and at work but these are some names I didn't see in the thread so I figured I'd drop em. If you somehow haven't heard of any of these guys, here's a good starting point for each of them in the order above: Black tongue, if not for you, obsolete, breath, accident of birth.
