Any Skellies have advice for starving maxxing?

How do I ensure I stop obsessing over the consumption of food forever? No way there are people out there who can just eat and exist. I either go to much or to little, I have no balance in my life. I can force food down even when I'm full, but it is "harder" to eat moderately. I can adhere to a diet, but the second I can "eat as many as I want, but no more than X" I start to justify 1 or 2 more.

    Also what the frick is this eat till your full bullshit? I only feel "full" when my stomach says no, 2000 calories later, I do it with veggies and shit to so it's not cuz muh goyslop. I just ate 1200 calories of frozen fruit, I always crave more. Maybe it's my tolerance over the years...

        Ironically, I've been eating 950 cals of nothing but protein and staying full. HOWEVER, I have been walking for 2 hours every other 2 hours everyday to combat this. Also drink 2 gallons of water a day. Clearly it isn't going to last though, and no way can I sustainably get 40k+ steps a day with a job in the future.

      I only enjoy food when I am hungry. I never eat until I'm full, only until I'm not hungry anymore. When I am working or doing something and I get hungry, I wait until the hunger starts impact the quality of the work that I am doing, usually to the point of pain, or if you're familiar with the feeling of stomach acid in your empty stomach making you feel like you might vomit. In fact I am hungry right now but I'm going to go to bed hungry so that I enjoy breakfast when I wake up. It's not the painful kind of hungry, it's just the normal kind that is very easy to ignore. If I eat before bed then eating breakfast is a struggle. I probably have an eating disorder. Sometimes I think about how if I could temporarily switch bodies with an overweight person then this could be a superpower and I could help you fix your life, then you could have your body back.

      I like to work out because it gives purpose to eating. Otherwise, if I have not been very active, eating is something I do only to stay alive.

    People who are skinny without trying are the genetically blessed 0.01% or teens. Once you hit a certain age you simply need to put in the effort to manage your diet.
    If you want to stop obsessing, then you probably need to set up a structured diet before-hand and simply refuse to deviate. None of these "eat as many of X as you want" schemes, just map out an exact weight of food or calories and stick to it. For most people, habit and structure remove the neuroticism of choice.
    I've eaten the same breakfast everyday for the past two years, it's high protein, satiating and I still enjoy it. I also don't snack, so now I only have 1-2 other meals to worry about and I have a rough calorie limit for those to narrow down choices. Sure I could gorge on 1,000 calories of frozen fruit or other junk if I felt like it, but I'm vigilant. You need to get vigilant.

      I try to eat 4 times a day 4 hours apart. 180g of protein. Typically I eat and am hungry while eating, enjoying those fleeting 5 minutes of joy. I then set the dishes away or wash them, go about my day for 20 minutes. And the hunger is back and i stare at the clock like you would at school or a shit meeting

        Seems like you need a therapist or doctor something, this sounds like a fetish. It's not normal to be hungry all day and 180g of protein should be very satiating unless it's all going in the form of protein powder or something.

          Naw only 1 scoop a day. The feeling of being full and not hungry is probably some mental illness yeah. I literally hate the feeling of being like 10% full 95% of my day and all I want is to be full again.

          Drink water when you get hungry instead of snacking. Most of the time you think you're hungry you're actually thirsty.

          I lost 40 pounds over 8 months just doing this.

          I drink 2 gallons a day, spread out anywhere form 1 every 4 hours or 0.5 every 2.

            If you're already this miserable all day then you might as well go OMAD. I highly doubt you could consume your daily calorie intake in one sitting and not achieve fullness for at least a temporary period of time. According to you, this would be an improvement over your current situation, so you've got nothing to lose.

              I could easily. When I was 465 I would get 5k cals off of a domino's order.

              But yeah I get your point it would be a 1 off, super full stuffed, and then taper the rest of the day.

        Oatmeal and eggs would certainly be better than 1,200 calories of frozen fruit. What does a typical day of eating look like for you? You said 180g of protein, and yet you are never full. What exactly are you eating?

          I used to have it saved on my recipe list but since I'm cutting now it's changed it basically looked like this.

          >2 eggs, 138g eggW, 9oz potato, SF ketchup
          >8oz(raw) chicken, 5g parm cheese, 2oz penne, 1lb frozen veggies
          >1scoop protein powder, weighed fruit, xanthan gum(it was an icecream) and possibly some more to match fruit
          >nonfat gaye 226g, 1 sc casein protein, almond milk 120g and I had to add walnuts because my fats without it was like <30g lmao.

          I like nonfat yogurt now, I simply just got used to the taste, it's how I brute forced the weight loss.

          On another note, this shit isn't even near my maintenance calories, it's only something like 1900. imagine extra shit in each, like a La Bondita tortilla for breakfast, or some pineapple with dessert.

    Don't starve tard. It won't end well and it'll frick your brain. Here's a few tips from experience;
    - A rigid, well planned diet is hard to break.
    - High volume, low cal veggies are your friend. Spices for flavor.
    - Drink lots of water
    - Mustard and hot sauce are great for dipping.
    - Eat more lean meat, eat more fiber.
    - Greek Yogurt is versatile and tasty.
    - IF YOU OVEREAT ONE DAY, DO NOT LET IT RUIN YOUR SHIT. Calmly weigh yourself, acknowledge a lapse has occured, but to the same extent that your weightloss wasn't done overnight, neither did your weight really increse 5lbs overnight.

      Thank you for your advice Mr. you are the first one ever to give me legit advice that I've already cultivated over the course of my journey. Nobody has managed to give the other fatties legit advice. I wish it was someone who didn't know this shit though....

      I do these and still feel it doesn't work. It must be something mentally wrong with me like the guy said earlier. Perhaps kms, fix it myself, or Dr. is my only solution out of this vile ridden pit I got thrown into when I was younger.

      I can keep the weight off and lose it. It's just no fun when all I enjoy is eating till full while watching YouTube all day. That shit legit saved my life when I was younger and I still do it -the full part

    Hey anon. I just eat and exist. But I'm not eternal skelemode. At my worst, I was up to 175lbs and down to 115lbs. Usually a normal bmi though and didn't give a frick about what I ate most of the time. I've since researched a lot and experimented, but never with a strong weight goal in mind. Mostly just trying to figure out human nutrition and psychology.

    I don't know you, but I can make a couple guesses based on my own experience. You aren't obsessed with food. You're obsessed with sugar/carbs. So increase protein/fat, reduce carbs. This will help satiate you more and wean you off carb-brain. You don't have to go full keto or anything, especially not overnight, but start moving that direction until you make some progress.

    If you haven't, start tracking and weighing EVERYTHING you consume. you need a very good understanding of how many calories are in things and their portions. Pay attention to your macros and make sure you're getting enough protein. Animal proteins have a much better amino profile than plant proteins, so prioritize them. When I eat 120g+ protein a day, I have a much harder time overeating. If I don't hit that, it's much, much easier.

    My skelemode activates strongest when I'm IF. As a teen, I would often skip breakfast and do 16/8 before it was a meme. Pushing back breakfast is the easiest way to get your toes wet. So try for that, go slow.

    If you have recurring unhealthy 'habit snacks', experiment with making easy little changes to them. Try to figure out what 'itch' you're really trying to scratch, and try finding 'less bad' options. I was majorly addicted to coke, would get it whenever I was running errands. Realized it was less about the sugar, and more about having something fast, cold, and refreshing, so i was able to switch it to unsweetened iced tea and it works for me. Chocolate cravings led to shit candy/cake, replaced with nice dark chocolate. Fruity cravings, replaced by protein smoothies with bananas/berries. Etc

      find a gym with a elliptical machine, those badboys can burn 200 cals in a 15 min session easy. do an hour of that 600 cals burnt plus after effect with sore muscles

      I use the elliptical when I can or once a day when I'm not walking. Typically I do 30 minutes and on the calories burned it says 500 says I assume 250 and I never eat it back because I'm cutting but if I'm at my weight I'll eat it back. Cardio just stops me from eating for 30 to 60 is all it never gave me an after effect. Same with Caffeine.
