    Unnecessary and suboptimal compared to traditional routes. I've tried them for a training cycle before and they just lead to wrist pain when you use enough weight and subpar gains

    I do conventional curls until failure then drop a dumbbell and do these 🙂

    I actually like these but moved to the preacher curl station and do them on there now for a longer stretch. I've seen a huge difference in my biceps due to this as this is my main bicep movement and what's even better is I finally stopped getting elbow pain doing regular curls.
