Anyone here supplement Omega 3?

I am looking to supplement EPA and DHA Omega 3 and have found what I think is a good supplement but am unsure about the numbers.

Blackmores vegan Omega-3 Oil 120 Mini Capsules
Active Ingredients: Linseed oil 300 mg
Equiv. linolenic acid 150 mg
DHA/EPA rich Schizochytrium algal oil 288.81 mg
Equiv. eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 45 mg
Equiv. docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-rich oil derived from microalgae Schizochytrium sp. 90mg

So it says linseed oil 300mg but it's Equiv to 150mg LA, and the same with EPA and DHA 288mg Equiv to 135gm (both combined).
Does this mean I would be getting a total of 285mg of O3 from 1 tablet? Or do I use the 'full' value or 588mg?
I am trying to work out some numbers but am unsure which to use. Thanks.

Also another option I could get

Wanderlust Plant Omega 3 60 Capsules
DHA/EPA rich schizochytrium algal oil 962.7 mg
Equiv. docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)-------300 mg
Equiv. eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) ------- 150 mg

These are slightly more expensive but I would be getting more DHA/EPA per capsule.
If I take 2 pills of the other brand I would be getting

300mg LA + 270mg DHA/EPA 2 capsule vs 450mg DHA/EPA 1 capsule

price per capsule is (considering both bottle will count as 60 total since I would need 2 of the 120 pack

0.60816 vs 0.3915

So the more expensive one would give me more DHA/EPA per capsule but less O3 overall. Currently I am getting a ratio of 1:10 O3:O6 in my diet (from non fish sources though). On a fish day I would be getting close to 1:6 ratio O3:O6.

I drink fish oil. Salmon is too expensive, fish is too expensive. And it's fed onions pellets anyyway.

The main health benefits of the pills you want to supplement with come from the EPA and DHA. There's no point in taking an omega 3 supplement otherwise because you can easily get lots of overall omega 3 through food

Thanks anon. The first option is cheaper than the 2nd but it has slightly less DHA/EPA vs the 2nd option
      >270mg 2 pill vs 450mg 1 pill
But more overall due to LA

What I don't understand is do I count the first amount
      >962mg
      Or the equiv amount?
      >300mg + 150mg
??? This is causing me confusion.

        Can anyone answer this?

even worse long chain o3 are downrigh toxic. doses recomended by fishoilmongers exceed natural dha production by orders of magnitude. we are supposed to get dha from conersion if it wasnt so then estrogen would not boost said conversion. especially during pregnacy where estrogen skyrockets and need for dha increases due to growing babys brain.

nta, but here's something, anyway fish oils are not healthy the way people seem to think.
This goes into the same category as seed oils being toxic to humans and most "experts" having been trying desperately to prove this wrong for the past 100 years with no success, just like red meat or saturated fats causing health issues.

Explain. The OP post isn't fish oil but algae oil.

Don't, care drunk. Supplements are still shit and OP is just asking to get scammed instead of eating proper, good quality food.

It's cheaper and easier to just eat those cheapass Manzanilla olives

And then you won't get the oxidative stress fish puts on your body

I just came here to warn you friends about the fact that walnuts have 4x the omega 6 as it has omega 3, and that flaxseed is literally the most estrogenic food on the entire planet.

And what the actual fricking hell is edamame (s0ibeans) doing in this picture? Is this picture an actual psyop to trick us into becoming unhealthy weaklings?

Looks like it. Between the estrogen and the zoy, they want everyone to become a moronic autistic homosexual.

I read stuff on reddit supplements recently
They say 3x/week sardines to get for food or of pills they seem to like some company called Nordic naturals as they best one.
And talk about rancid fish oil and EPA vs DHA which I haven't looked into wtf that all is.
Of course they are moronic trannies so who knows

    don't uptake your O3
better lower you shity O6 PUFA to get a better ratio

and flax seeds are a shit source for O3 since they contain nearly just ALA which is fricking useless for the body and must be converted to EPA and DHA in a really shit inefficient way with a low hard cap limit.

It's like telling vegans to eat more spinach to uptake their iron.
won't work since the body says: frick this shit I can't use it.
