Yeah.. now women just want Black person asses and every 15 year old broccoli hair is on SARMS. Shit is getting weird. I feel like everyone thinks the kids are fricked when they get older but I really do think social media is taking us into uncharted waters with how autistic and fricked up society can be while it still "functions". School shooting every other week and no one cares. Every woman has an Onlyfans and no one cares. Every zoomie on research chemicals and no one cares. The rest are on Benzos/SSRIS/Beta Blockers/Stimulants or injecting fentanyl patches and no one cares. The role models in media are all grifters, felons, con artists, prostitutes and pimps. Shit is so fricking insane compared to even 20 years ago and only seems to be getting worse every year.

You're right in that lifting and fitness were always a thing, but it was much more casual 20 years ago. The average guy would hit the gym and do bench, biceps, abs and maybe a little cardio. That's it. These days, the whole gymcel wannabe-bodybuilder grind is extremely mainstream.

        Anonymous

I got into lifting in 2006-2007 and it was way more niche and serious back then. Back then you HAD to deadlift, squat and benchpress. The gym was 95% male and the women only did cardio machines. The influencers of the time (Ronnie Coleman etc..) only appealed to very niche autistic groups of 99.999999% men that wanted to get jacked as frick and strong and be able to kill people with their bare hands.

Now its casual as frick and people only do pump work on machines and spend more thought about their outfits for the gym than their workouts. b***hes in bras and yoga pants everywhere doing meme workouts and guys dressing with chains and bracelets and homosexual shit like they are going to the club.

Social media and far far far far more people on anabolic steroids. Every single actor/influencer/musician is blasting gear and the only thing you see in movies are shirtless superheroes with 8 pack abs (that they got in 4 months for the film). Zoomers all think they will touch a weight and turn into Vegeta or whatever and then after 3 weeks of natty lifting they order research chemicals on the internet.

The true blackpill is that cheating is everything. Everyone successful just cheats and lies about it. A lot of people on IST struggle with this because they are autistic and genuinely believe that hard work matters or that intelligence matters etc.. The guy that cheated on all his tests in highschool/college is the guy that ends up running the company one day or makes 6figs+++ as a shady lawyer/doctor/salesman that grifts old people for a living. Everyone lies on their resume to get ahead. The guy injecting anabolics in his ass and eating donuts is the fitness influencer. The guy that cheated on every girlfriend he ever had ends up with the hottest wife.

It took me so long with my autism to realize that I was the only one that was playing by the rules and that all you are doing is cucking yourself because literally everyone is cheating that isn't moronic or autistic.

Do you work right now? Open up your resume and rewrite it. Your new current job is your bosses job at where you work right now. You know what he does and you would be able to do it if you had his job so just lie and say that you already do it. No gaps just lie and make everything look right. Now spam apply to your bosses position and just lie in the interviews until you get your bosses job somewhere else. You can repeat this process as many times as you want and the funny thing is you build legitimate experience along the way that would otherwise be gatekept.

For ISTness just cave in and order testosterone from a UGL. Blast 500mg/week until you look good and then cruise 150mg/week. Lie and tell everyone you are natural (because testosterone is natural) and that it was just hard work and clean diet that got you there.

For women lmao its always been about lieing. If you don't understand that I can't help you but I have straight up had women tell me they wish I didn't tell them I cheated on them or something like that... Like they aren't even mad I fricked there friend they are mad that I told them about it.

I dunno man just start lieing and cheating and you can be successful and popular too... The funny thing is the shittier of a person you are the more money you will make and the more friends you will have.

Thank you very much for the advice.

I would argue that Christianity only exists/was created to pacify normies into being afraid to cheat their way to the top or resist evil. That you should be a good little wage slave and pay your taxes so that you can be rewarded in the afterlife for being a cuck.

All of the people in power larp that they are religious and tell normies that there is some eternal score keeper of bad deeds and that you should be a sheep/slave morality etc... its pretty fricking cringe the brag about sucking wieners in my opinion.

I'd argue that sin is consistently punished and righteousness is consistently rewarded. The people you're describing might enjoy favor from the secular world, but they suffer inside a prison of their own making every day. Some body-positive, HIV-positive, fatherless homosexual is not happy no matter how many drugs or dicks they take.

Meanwhile the godly men and women I know are getting married, having children, being prosperous, and aging gracefully surrounded by friends and loved ones.

It's a small, fringe church in the South. Benefits of Jesus freak-ism. I don't disagree with you. Read scripture, the enemy has always masqueraded as an angel of light, and the counterfeit "church" has always been his greatest weapon. But there are God-fearing true believers out there, and I've seen them consistently blessed.

however, this is where our brain is moronic cuz monkeys waznt wired for logic (and it's better that way, if I get my evopsych hat on)
lot of those at the top cheated on some stuff or did some unethical stuff
but cheating and being unscrupulous does not guarantee success, it merely puts you on the higher risk/reward track
as men, we're guaranteed less than women, and we're also naturally less risk-averse, not to mention the wider distribution of traits, all of which combines to have more men be at the top and more at the bottom, while women tend to be more average
to others I'd say, take a look at your strengths and weaknesses, play to your strengths and make your own choice about how much risk (including bending the rules) you prefer at the moment, keeping in mind that might change in the future, and some consequences can be shorter or longer term

Arnold wrote about being propositioned by bodybuilding "sponsors" when he came to America and had to repeatedly insist that a) he never accepted those proposals, ever, honest and b) no bodybuilding wasn't totally gay I swear those guys are just a minority. I actually believe him, personally, but it goes to show that "gay bodybuilding" was a well-enough established trope that he had to address it directly.

Sure there were accusations of homsexuality and gay for pay in the Silver and Golden Era, but the most immediate association bodybuilding had back then was star bodybuilder actors dating hot actresses in Italy.

I thought that mid-century the only roles for bodybuilders were in sword-and-sandal and Bible movies, or comedic "dumb jock" roles, so still kinda fringe. It wasn't til the 80s that leading men started sporting conspicuously muscular/lean bodybuilding physiques.

Oh hey also, tell me about Turnerveiren and Linggymnastik, scholar-anon. I haven't heard those names before.

Yes, but these were still extremely popular. I believe Reeves was the highest paid actor in Italy during his time.
              >Oh hey also, tell me about Turnerveiren and Linggymnastik, scholar-anon. I haven't heard those names before.
Figures like Francisco Amorós y Ondeano, Johann GutsMuths, Pehr Henrik Ling, and Friedrich Jahn formulated systems of gymnastics in the early 19th century. I would say these were the first attempts to truly try to revive the physical culture of Ancient Greek, and they invented a number of excercises and tools that remain today. The strongmen of the Bronze Era were able to draw from this gymnastic mileu in the development of their systems of weightlifting.

I first started going to the gym in 2005 at 14. It was pretty cool a niche. There'd only be a couple big body builders/powerlifters, and absolutely no women in the free weight section. The only woman that worked out with free weights/machines was an older dyke bodybuilder who owned a supplement shop I believe. All the women would be upstairs doing cardio. When the instagram fitness niche began to grow, women started doing free weights and bootybuilding, and tons of people doing powerlifting exercises, but it wasn't like that until around 2015 or so. I miss the old days when there were still people who didn't have a gym pass

Were there a lot of bigger guys back then? Or now have bigger guys

I don't recall, but there were a few outliers that are much bigger than anyone else I see going to the gym today. There was this giant football player who was super cool always doing compounds, one juiced jacked chad salesman type of guy, a yoked asian powerlifting dude, and this older ripped guy (aka the wise one) who looked like he was meditating as he worked out. I'd say more people are bigger now as fitness youtube channels/instagrams are popular and the knowledge is more well known to a wider audience, but not as many outliers i guess

So the outliers that were very dedicated back then were basically rich piana competing bodybuilder size?

Natural Strength training has always been for real men. Roided body building is for wiener suckers.
