my workout is compound lifts only

Literally the only way to get me to workout

      This guy gets it

      For Me:

Raise Heartrate to 138 for a few minutes
      OHP
      Barbell/Pendlay Rows/Chin Up/Pull Up
      Back/Front/Sissy Squat
      Incline/Flat Bench
      Conventional/Romanian/Sumo DLs
      (I threw the /'s in there because sometimes I change it up ala A B C A B A)

I still only look good in clothes, but working out like this has given me the heroic frame that I started working out for.

Anon you do all of these in the same day (you're A looks like cardio->OHP->Barbell->back squat->incline bench->DL's ?)
That's an insane amount of compound and lifts, you must be super strong and have plenty of stamina.
Any tips for me who wants to be like you? I'm nowhere close

      basically this
i stopped doing iso accessory work and focused solely on compounds only, throw in DB bench and basically I do what the last anon does
everything has shot up now that i'm not wasting time doing bicep curls or leg extensions, even in the gym less because of it

Sumo deadlifting is like dressing like a woman, pretending to be a woman and expecting others to treat you like a woman despite not being a real woman.

        Capisce?

it's not a great lift to develop strength since it's much too taxing. better to just squat + conv deadlift if u want a big sumo deadlift. similar to how you train highbar in the offseason and lowbar to peak for a meet.

conventional form--- through having a long ROM and working legs and back aggressively--- is meant for people who actually want a workout that will build strength or mass, and where moving a lot of weight actually represents great strength, stability, experience, and form/skill. Sumo is the ultimate pointless ego lift; it's a showy, dramatic way to lift the most weight, but which doesn't give you remotely the same workout or challenge as conventional. What's worse is that as an ego lift it doesn't even look cool like squatting 5pl8 or something, it looks cringe and it also looks as lazy as it actually is

i use the machine equivalent of the compound lifts. much more stable which allows you to produce more force and therefore build more muscle and strength

normies actually train that way, obviously you frick up your stabilizers but you can make decent gains as well

I do PPL and include bench/ohp on push, dead/rows on pull, and squat/farmers walks on legs alternating them with each session

ah, yes, my favorite lifts, the sumo-stance squat, the sumo """deadlift""", and the zero rom bench.

if you train all the usual compounds in a variety of rep ranges, consistently with progressive overload, you will inevitably mogg >99% of humans in terms of strength, health and aesthetics.

Compound lifts = ego lifts. Once you grow up you start training for real.

Daily reminder that compound lifts include things like cable rows/presses and dumbbell work too.
So yes, most people have compounds in their program.
