Anyone try these supplements?

Anyone try these supplements? Do they actually work at promoting glutathione in the blood and improve results from workouts?
SO says antioxidants don't work but this one is supposedly the best of the bunch.

Yeah these actually made me spit acidic diarrhea that blistered the ring of my rectum to the point where I vocalized my pain several times at work. It was distracting to my coworkers and my boss was upset. She is a hot double d babe so I went into her office and told her my butthole was bleeding and then she said ok and we started making out. After that there was a sunshine outside and everyone was really happy. We did the fahoodoorray welcome Christmas song from the grinch and held hands

NAC is such a strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory that it has effects _against_ muscle building, you're meant to take it as far away from your workouts as possible ideally.

Good liver protection, thins mucus, has some weird effects like breaking addictive habits, cures hangovers, helps with flu, randomally related to every supplement in existence.

I want to inject it into my ass cheeks just to see what happens.

I took it for addiction reasons and it worked until I stopped taking it, at which point my cravings for drugs and masturbation came back with an intensity much worse than before taking it. Also I read studies (which I conveniently cant find anymore) that said it can cause Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. More recently I saw a bunch of other supposed negatives but like a moron I didn't save any of this info.

      Taking 600mg NAC occasionally.

The effects i notice are best described as a mild motivation and clearness boost.

Once, at 1200mg i felt great. Went on a run in a rainy forest after not running for years and felt fricking amazing and alive. Might have been the circumstances. The smell, the feeling of the rain etc. I think the NAC makes it easier to do uncomfortable thinks, the entry barrier is lower.

As a kid i was diagnosed with ADHD and NAC feels like a very mild dose of ritalin.

The downside is the stuff smells extremely bad like sulfur, and it can make your sweat and breath stink. Be careful and double check/ ask someone close if they notice.

Yep. People with low glutathione levels get hit the worst by sickness. This is especially true for the thing known as "covid".
You can take glutathione directly, but it's not as effective as taking a glutathione-precursor such as NAC.
I was still able to find a constant source of it, but not from ~~*large retailers*~~. I believe I used this site https://pinestreetclinic.com/ though I don't know anything about if they ship to Canada.
As discussed in this thread, NAC is also good for other things, too. But the "pandemic" is what made me learn and start taking it.

so all of you let dissolve it under your tongue or what? that seems like such a weird way to take it... Is it really legit that it can't go through the stomach?

I get the pills and swallow them. It tastes and smells like sulfur so try not to keep it in your mouth too long.

          but

Glutathione is the most powerful antioxidant made primarily in the cytosol of cells. As you age, intracellular glutathione production decreses, meaning your cells become more susceptible to antioxidant damage.
Unlike Vitamin C and D, there are no active transport channels that can pump in glutathione into a cell's cytosol against a concentration gradient. Meaning that as you age vitamin C/D becomes the more important antioxidants as they are the only one you can take in through diet.
NAC and other glutathione precursors are believed to cause anti-aging effects because at high enough doses, you can diffuse glutathione back into your cells. But precursors are necessary becuse glutathione is broken down by stomach acid, meaning you have to take it under the tongue or through IV for it to have an effect.
I've been looking at NAC and "Glyteine" as glutathione precursors because liposomal glutathione sounds like an ineffective scam. The concentration is too low to have an effect, even if it manages to get into your bloodstream.

said, that stomach acid destroys it, and he even had trips

Glutatione is destroyed by it, hence putting it under the tongue or just taking a precursor (NAC is a precursor). NAC won't be destroyed by the stomach.

Strange stuff indeed. It has so many supposed effects. I take it because I read somewhere, that it brings your dopamine back to baseline after taking adhd medication, so I take it in the evening together with a big dose of vit c to wash out my meds.

        It evens out stimulants, yes.
I don't take ADHD meds anymore, but years ago i did, so that's why i compared it to low dose ritalin.

Also another good side affect is that it's a mucolytic, helps with allergies and congested sinuses

If you go too high in dosage it can go further and turn into being completely careless not giving a frick about anything in a bad way - i.e. doing dumb stuff or avoiding essential responsibilities because you can't care about them. As part of this it can also induce anhedonia. NAC is a weird one in the sense that it can simultaneously contribute to or cause problems that in other people it can help.

    >SO says antioxidants don't work but this one is supposedly the best of the bunch.
    NAC isn't an antioxidant.
    it's a precursor.

NAC itself is a biofilm eliminator as it binds to receptors in parasite biofilms that they use to transfer resources to the inside of the biofilm colony.
NAC itself doesn't do anything besides that.
When NAC is broken down it can be used to make an antioxidant. However you don't need to megadosage to get those results.
Daily reminder that too much NAC actually promotes oxidation as all anti-oxidants have a boundary before they are useless in the body and they themselves promote oxidation.
If it's not being actively utilized, it's an anti-oxidant promoter.

Citation multiple studies that regularly NAC intake causes joint damage if taken in abundance.

What's considered a safe daily dose?

        Anonymous

        probably around 500mg-1k
        few weeks at most.

it's especially harmful in long term dosages, doesn't give the body to work normally. So most people usually just take it for a few weeks and back off for a little while.

My sister in law was getting over the covid and was super ditzy, bad brain fog, couldn't hardly focus on simple conversations and I bullied her into taking one 500mg pill a day for a week and she was back to normal in 4 days. I think using it for acute inflammatory issues is great but not for daily long term use.
