      >dont shave. it make spits smell worse.
That's moronic, anon. Shaving reduces the surface area for bacteria to live on, and it makes it possible for anti-perspirant to actually contact the skin.
OP's problem is undoubtably that his pits are too hairy.

correct. I have this same problem with roll ons and shaving fixes it because the deodorant can actually come into contact with the skin, which is necessary for it to work.

dont shave. it make spits smell worse. All you need is Arrid XD brand. Its a spray and is the best possible and strongest anti-antiperspirant I've used in 20 years. I am not sure why this isnt common knowledge that spray on is better than sticks.

I don't like the idea of breathing in aluminum as aerosol (which directly goes to the lungs then into the blood).

If your BO is bad, I've learned that the smelly sweat will rub off onto the inside of your upper arms as well as below the pit on your ribcage. Make sure to bathe those areas thoroughly as well to remove all BO, not just the pits. You could also try applying anti-persperant in a larger area like I've mentioned or just get an extra strength anti-persperant

  7. 2 years ago

It's probably in your shirts too. The smell reactivates after your shirt gets wet from your sweat again so pretreat the shirt pits with stain remover and after it's dry spray the pits with frebreeze.

This is usually the case. Wash your clothes with vinegar to eliminate the smell. Fabric softeners with scent will just add to the smell.

Buy actual prescription strength anti-perspirant, changed my life this summer. Put on a couple quick rolls of it before bed and no matter how hot it is I cannot sweat from those places, been fricking amazing.

        >clogging your pores with aluminum

Maybe not the most natural thing, but it's a solution if it's something that causes a lot of distress. Personally don't buy a lot of the research related to it's negative effects, I think the carcinogenic studies didn't preclude paraben use from the products which is notorious for it's localised breast cancer incidence. The Alzheimers stuff is a bit worrying, but tbh it's a risk I'll take to have the psychological comfort of being able to look like a normal human being who doesn't get drenched in sweat even during the winter

I sweat like a fricking pig and was obese most of my life till i got jacked and roided and I only stank if i didnt shower or use deodorant
I use girls deordorant now, secret clinical strength. girls is better because they do weaker smells so it doesnt clash with perfume whereas guy shit is stinky af since most guys dont wear cologne

You're applying it wrong. You're supposed to put on antiperspirant the night prior so it can plug up the pores before you start sweating from physical activity the following morning

I used to always smell like shit at the gym despite wearing deodorant, but then I realized that the smell was coming from my balls/ass because I sweat a lot there. So I started using Gold Bond powder and it works.

Smelling bad is just being unhealthy. I have gradually stopped using chemicals on my skin over the last few years. I used to have to shower twice a day to smell alright. At the moment I haven't showered in three days, havent used any soap in something like 10 and there is literally no detectable smell from my armpits. Back in the day they would smell again like 15 minutes after showering.
    >muh deodorant
    >muh toothpaste
    >muh shampoo
    >muh soap
All psyops that produce the issues they are claimed to fix. Don't go cold-turkey though, just reduce use over time and fix your garbage diet and lifestyle.

I don't get it as well. It's weird too because my right armpit shirts that I use in the gym the drifit ones still somewhat smell as well even after soaking them for 2 hrs in detergent and oxiclean.

I'm sorry but I can't believe that people here are regularly not using soap, shampoo, and deodorant.

Shampoo absolutely doesn't need to be used every day, probably once a week at most. But you need to clean your frickin hair.

Soap, yeah it doesn't need to be used on every inch of skin, but if you aren't at least using it on the armpits, crotch, ass crack and butthole and probably feet as well, what the frick

Deodorant, I agree the aluminum shit that intentionally clogs your pores so you don't sweat is bad, but you really need to use regular deodorant

I'm sorry, I just refuse to believe that these people aren't just trolling. So many people on here saying they don't use these things AT ALL? What the frick

It’s literally a scam, you clean yourself with water the way people always have. You only need soap if there’s some oil based shit on you.

      Anonymous

I'm not trolling. If I get stressed my armpits start to smell from the stress hormones, and then I use soap there.
      >you need to clean your fricking hair
      >you need to blablablabla
Water removes dust, pollen, etc. What else do you need to remove? Your hair is oily because you use shampoo, that's why you feel the need to clean it. It's basically a psycho-social addiction. You are coping hard over the fact that you smell bad. Healthy normal humans don't smell bad to each other (why would they?).

    >The human armpit has a lot to offer bacteria. It's moist, it's warm, and it's usually dark. But when the bacteria show up, they can make a stink. That's because when some kinds of bacteria encounter sweat they produce smelly compounds, transforming the armpit from a neutral oasis to the mothership of body odor.

Just chill. You are human, Humans have smells.
Shower every day at least, wear clean clothes.
If you like shaving your armpits, by all means do but I consider it highly optional.
If people are bothered by natural odors, they can go frick themselves and go live in a barbie land.
