Thanks for proving the point with this clip. Literally EVERY SINGLE ONE of these is after 1 rep and almost in almost every case it is obviously their orm they are going for. While some of these are competitions for orm many are not, you would think there would be even a single clip where someone did a few RDLs or stiff leg deadlifts and then after the fourth or fifth one they collapsed - there are zero.

Literally don't orm, that's it. It's actually a joke how hypnothized people are at getting a single number - just calculate your theoretical orm from your multiple reps if you want.

    Yes
You're in imminent danger of not making gains if you don't do them

Walk past a pack of deadlifts the other day and they mugged me at knife point.
    Around deadlifts, carry medkits

There's no risk the bar will fall on you. That alone makes it safer than a large number of barbell lifts

    There's a reason they're called DeADlifts

They are notdangerous lmao what kind of question is that.

They carry with them a risk of injury but so does any other barbell lift. The biggest reason people get injured on deadlift is because they dont train to be athletic or healty but do it to fuel their ego and act strong or tough. If you constantly chase 1RM lifts then you are by definition always on the verge of what your body can viably endure and that causes people to get injured since one slip of form or concentration can cause injury.
If you dont earn money from competitions/sports/media then you have absolutely no gain or worth from maxing out and everything to lose.

I overheard a bunch of kids at the gym saying "don't do deadlifts, they are extremely dangerous" after one of the kids suggested doing them. It is sad how people are so filled with fear due to lies and misinformation. The deadlift is a completely safe exercise that will make you even less likely to get injured in daily life.

Yes, it's not necessary unless you're powerlifting. If you still feel the need for deadlifting, do hex bar deadlifts.

Feel like squats are more dangerous since it's easier for your back to shift

Try icing it, doing adductor/abductor work on the cable machines and go for a long walk. I've improved a great deal today just from doing those.
