You do have to season water for a crawfish boil pretty heavily to penetrate the shells. As a bonus, you can cook side vegetables in the same pot.

If you're willing to eat these, you should be willing to eat crickets, roaches, and other various landbugs. The only reason you don't find these revolting is because you have been culturally indoctrinated. It takes true intelligence to recognize that seabugs and landbugs are, for culinary and nutritional purposes, the same.

Crustaceans have actual meat not gross slimy guts like grasshoppers

I've actually tried all of those and seabugs have more meat, and are therefore more plateable. Nice "argument", bro.

Wow, you sure convinced me Chang.

A more adequate comparassiom would be "if you are willing to eat meat you should be willing to eat ammonia drenched pink goo" wich americans already do

Yeah a lot of it really has to do with wether you were raised eating them or not. Eating frog is common in some countries, never tried it because it just isnt that common where i live, but ive heard its pretty much like chicken but extra tasty. On the other hand, people in my country eat rabbit, but to some people that seems bizzarre, its like eating a housepet.

I grew up in a place where if you were hungry it wouldn't be out of the norm to take a pellet gun or 22 and pop some squirrels in your garden and where I live now the rich city people would think I'm the nastiest fricker around for having enjoyed it. Rabbit fried up like chicken is good too.

Same here with pigeon lmao. Its a shame they are looked down upon as "flying rats" , they are really easy and efficient to raise.

I used to hunt and eat dove with my dad and don't see much of a difference between the two.

That's because there isn't much difference between the two. They're very closely related species and the distinction between them is fairly modern.

I've thought of trying to raise pigeons tbh but I'm not sure it offers significant bonuses over chickens.

I never eat rabbits and squirrels except maybe in winter because of warbles.

Frog legs are a a fairly common thing though and yes they are good. Very similar to chicken like they say- there is nothing off putting about them. Alot of people don't understand that you aren't eating little rain frogs you are eating legs off of fairly large frogs there is alot of meat there. Reptile meat in general is usually pretty clean too sort of reminds you of the texture of fish.

You could still do something with turkey or chicken sausage, a few makers seem to have figured them out by now.
Sucks about the shellfish thing though, sorry bro.

Lol where I live it isn't uncommon to see blacks pulled over in some ditch looking for crawdads. They will even eat bowfin bro no shit. Back in the old days when it came time to castrate hogs they said the black help used to fight over who'd get to take the oysters home with them lol. Sometimes they are right though friend chicken livers are actually good.

That's only old blacks though young blacks only eat fast food.
