No, do overhead presses with a focus on scapular elevation. Personally, my traps didn't blow up until I started doing calisthenics and handstands

for traps? heavy deads have always been sufficient for me.
Ive been the same way. I tried shrugs and they did nothing, but heavy pulls made mine blow up.
I enjoy doing them because I don't deadlift. Just regular bb shrugs though with a slightly wide grip
