never tried these but I heard they're in the same type of category as SS, take from that what you will

Also I need a new program to get me to a 180 squat and a 130 bench, currently 10kg under for both as a 1RM, weighing around 89kg, any recommendations?

No and madcow is the worst lifting program ever made.
    >hit a new 3RM homosexual
    >congrats. Take two days off
    >okay now do that 3RM for 5x5
    >can't do it? Deload for a MONTH

      Idiot.

The 3 rep set isn’t supposed to be a max. Besides, you’re not 5x5'ing the heavy weight, they’re ramped up sets.

Read the program maybe? As for deloads, it’s an intermediate program. A month isn’t really a long time.

Shut the frick up moron. You print out a sheet on their website that tells you exactly what to do. You ramp up a 5x5 to the top set of 5 which is your previous 3RM. Shut the frick up about shit you don't know about you reddit spacing dyel fatass. Go lie about your reddit routine somewhere else homosexual.

Literally just google and you find it ON THE STRONGLIFTS WEBSITE. Fricking stupid Black person defending this shit program in every thread yet you clearly never have done it.

Yes, you mongoloid, you RAMP UP to a top set that's 2.5% higher than your previous 5RM. If you struggle to progress week to week your recovery is dog shut and you're hopelessly low T.

If you’re a intermediate lifter and manage to get to week 8 it’s still decent progress anon. Try the week once more or just restart the program.

Let me guess, your mother was 45 when she had you?
Just because you do a set with 3 reps doesn’t make it your 3RM. The heavy set on Friday’s isn’t supposed to be a max.

These moronic dyels I swear to god.

SS or SL, then switch to TM or Madcow when you’re approaching 1/2/3/4

      >they're strength routines with too low volume
He's a dyel fricking novice. You believe he'll stick to higher vol programming? You've never trained anyone, have you? Half these kids can't handle 3 lifts/session.

They’re fine for building a good strength base. Once you finish these programs you can switch to PPL. And make no mistake, you’ll get some significant gains even though you are lifting for strength.

You’ll be more aesthetic than a twig or skinnyfat dyel. But no, they’re designed to make you stronger, not better looking

I know you clipped this from the IST lifting compilation.
Question tho, did you even fricking read the thing moron?
    >Both Starting Aesthetics programs are basically PPL.
    >(OP) Does this full body routine work for aesthetics?
Like next time at least troll bait with a Upper/Lower split FFS

5x5 builds muscle moron. anyway wy the frick would you do a PPL when you can shift like 60lbs on the bench. Most newbies need to get their strength up first

        >t. summer tourist

        >OP asks if intermediate lift from compilation will do aesthetics
        >HURR DURR YOU NEED TO DO 5x5 IF BEGINNER
I know reading and comprehension is hard but why are you morons so angry all the time? Need a nappy or bobby?

Strength base is a meme. You'll still get stronger on non-strength routines and you won't look like a moronic t rex

          >just take 3x as long to reach late beginner levels of strength so you won’t offend the redditBlack folk
Or you can just do basic compound lifts for a couple months and be noticeably larger and stronger.

I've started as a beginner on both SL and PPL. I haven't noticed much difference strength/size wise and I'm still progressing just as fast on PPL, only difference is my arms and shoulders aren't lagging as much

              Anonymous

Are you progressing 5+lbs/week on your compound lifts? If yes, you can’t reasonably expect to be getting stronger faster on another routine. If no, you’re either no longer a beginner or doing something wrong.

No but being stronger will definitely make you look better. Also beginners should always start with a strength program. I know too many people that do a moronic brosplit for three months and then give up

Okay aesthetics gays. Please help. I have a nice back. I'd happily and proudly show off my back to anyone. But I'm constantly under a sweater because my front makes me look like jason blaha and it makes me want to kms. I look like a fricking moron but I'm lifting and dieting.
