They are dumb and will give you a repetitive strain injury. If you want to train this properly I recommend you get an adjustable resistance gripper. If you're not sure what range to get buy a 100lb gripper so you know what you're getting into. Grippers should be trained with fairly low ish reps. Look at the below for a guide

bro if you can do 200kg you're basically one of the strongest grippers in the world. captains of crush 4s can be under 200kg and there's only five guys certified as having closed one.
no 4 is 165 kg I believe. Also, all of the certifications was before they introduced the CCS-rule. No one has closed it with CCS. The only guy to do reps on the 4 is Magnus Samuelsson who at one point was literally world' strongest man and probably has one of the strongest grip of all time.
The heaviest gripper is I think GHP level 10 which is like 192,5 kg. I think no one is certified on that one.
I’ve kept one in my car for a decade. I use it at red lights or when I’m stuck in traffic or on the interstate. Haven’t noticed much in forearm gains but I don’t turn on the cruise control and fap on long drives anymore.
You should build your grip muscles the same way you would build any other muscle.
Hypertrophy occurs anywhere from 5-40 reps, and you should primarily focus on doing heavy weight and progressing the weight over time. For example, 5x10 on a hard gripper where you miss reps because the weight is too heavy is more effective than just doing easy reps all day.
What are you guys using for extensors? I bought like every rubber piece of extension crap I could find and I am going through them to see which work best.
This is what I have got so far. Still waiting on more to arrive. The bands look to be the exact same ones as grip genie sell. I haven't seen them on aliexpress yet but I assume they're there somewhere.
I like them. They're kind of annoying if they roll up or flick off but you git gud.
The blue cuff thing. I like that but I think it's just too weak. I ordered two stronger versions and I have high hopes for them.
The brass knuckles thing I got just today. I don't think I like this one at all but I haven't played with it too much.
The three monochrome ones in the bottom right aren't bad.
The top right ones I don't like much.
Not pictured: a bucket full of rice.
I think I will continue to use everything* but the knuckles thing in the middle and the ones in the top right.
*The blue bottom left thing I probably won't use but the stronger versions of it I think are going to be pretty sweet.

Oh, I forgot the other one I'm working on. Basically slide your fingers under a weight plate and tilt up the weight plate(s).
That is good too.
Past a point they're a waste of time.
Pale in comparison to picrel
And this one is even more based. You could make a normal pullup bar thicker using a towel and then see how long you can hang from it.
Do both and add reverse curls. You can hit forearms many times in a week.

>got a repetitive strain injury from dry fire drills and shooting range time with my revolver
unironically what do I do? Just let it rest or what?
yes or look up rice bucket method but it hurts stop
Those are for warm-ups, get the heavy kind, Captains of Crush or knockoffs
If you deadlift, always go double overhand. Free GOATed grip work
If you even consider not going double overhand you might need to get you T levels checked.
How much can you double-overhand?
I have an adjustable gripper that goes from 100kg to 600kg
I'm currently doing 200kg

He's full of shit. I'm 6' 220 lbs and do 100kg. sometimes I can't even fully press it. And people tell me that my handshake hurts.

That figure I got from these guys:
https://cannonpowerworks.com/pages/grip-strength-ratings-data
I think shamey has come close to the 10. on a side note to me GHPs always feel so fucking hard compared equal or slightly tougher COCs.
those resistance ratings dont mean shit, it's marketing bullshit. the real resistance is way less, the coc 4 is barely 200kg

didn't patrick from spongebob work out his asscheeks with one of these
I have one that goes from 2000kg to 6000kg.
Currently doing 3800kg. Hoping one day I can finally wrist curl my car

I've got a set of the ironmind extensor bands I've been using for about a year. They're alright.
