Are we actually NPCs?

What's the purpose of going to the gym and building muscle past the minimum?

If we managed to be content with the body we have and just did as much exercise as necessary to keep healthy into old age, we'd have more time to invest in other pursuits.

Muscles don't actually help us with anything substantial, so what's the point of spending so much time and money in getting more than we need?

We could just be conforming with the media's image of masculinity, rather than doing what would be truly reasonable with our time.

Uh, you get bigger and better (super useful) and the more muscles you have more testosterone your body makes

I don't think it works like this

That is how it works. When you build muscle your body also creates the hormonal enverionment to support it - so more test

If it wasn't so why would roiders lose their muscle once they get off cycle?
If there's no hormonal enverionment to support the larger muscles they shrink back down
That's why natty lifting takes so long by the way, your body is making many changes to support new muscle not just building it

              >If it wasn't so why would roiders lose their muscle once they get off cycle?
Because they no longer have high levels of steroids in their system.
              >If there's no hormonal enverionment to support the larger muscles they shrink back down
In a natural, muscles get bigger while testosterone stays the same.
              >That's why natty lifting takes so long by the way, your body is making many changes to support new muscle not just building it
You don't need higher test levels to support new muscle up until you hit your natural genetic ceiling which is ironically determined by your natural test levels.

Then why do you lose muscle when you age homosexual, because your test decreases. For this reason many old fricks hop on trt. Becsause it helps you gain muscle. Thats why its better to start lifting young and also thats why its harder for older dudes to build muscle

                >Then why do you lose muscle when you age homosexual, because your test decreases.
That's one reason. The other reason is that the cells of your body age and do not respond the same as when you are young.
                >For this reason many old fricks hop on trt.
Most old guys get on TRT due to low T symptoms that are not related to working out. Many old guys on TRT don't even workout.
                >Becsause it helps you gain muscle.
wow, increasing testosterone helps you gain muscle, what a reevelation
                >Thats why its better to start lifting young and also thats why its harder for older dudes to build muscle
what does all this have to do with the (incorrect) premise that your testosterone levels naturally go up when you build more muscle

                Anonymous

Im not the same anon, but when you lift, test in increased. Squats id the exercise that increases test the most because it works in the biggest bone of the body. more muscle on bone = more test
When you lift test increases. When test increases you gain muscle. So you have to gain muscle to increase test, and increase test to gain muscle.

The test increase from lifting weights is temporary, like for 1 hour which is nothing. Also cortisol goes up when squatting which negates the effects of testosterone.
The other anon is saying that the more muscle your build, the higher your resting average testosterone levels will be.

        Anonymous

It’s not magic it’s just utterly complex beyond human comprehension like I said. If you think reality as we perceive it is magic I think that’s just an infinitely small slice of what’s possible and we happen to exist and perceive it; as just one of endless inevitabilities cycling on throughout eternity. It’s not possible that we even have the sensory organs to deal with almost any of it. We have 5 frickin senses. We can already prove that things exist which we don’t have senses for. Think what’s outside the scope of our possible ability to build tools to detect or decipher. It might as well be magic, but it’s not imo

I mean I guess it depends on your definition of magic. Not all that long back indoor lighting powered by lightning shot through tubes would have been considered outside the scope of human comprehension. But it’s not magic. We may or may not ever develop the tools to understand it all. In my opinion it’s probably so complicated that humans will destroy themselves long before even scratching the surface so yeah, incomprehensible complex but not magic

yea my consciousness is totally a passive observer as I drag my corpse to work every day at 5am.

You do that because of an uncontrollable set of preconditions that have led you to do so just like everything you do. Just like me writing this comment to you or having this train of thought. Just by those preconditions leading to you replying to me you have irreversibly altered the rest of your known existence whether you agree with me or not. It’s too complicated for either one of us to nearly wrap our heads around but ultimately every single thing that came before or ever happened to you pre-decided what you did at this point and this action just adds to the pile of things that dictate what you do in future. In my book that’s not free will. You can live with the illusion but whether you believe it or not is already decided. Could change in the future or not depending on the path. I’m not trying to pseud by the way, I just find it fascinating. But if things had gone another way maybe I wouldn’t have found it interesting at all. It’s simultaneously very beautiful and sheer cosmic horror. What seems to be chaos via unknowable complexity. I think it’s just chaotic through our limited scope

The NPC's of the world literally operate to keep me satisfied in life
Most of my products are built with cheap labour from NPC's. The NPC's work their monkey asses off to harvest materials for my clothes, my car and items in my house
Even on a personal level, my job pays well but doesn't even really have to exist. All because generations of westerners built the society i thrive in so I can spend more time on myself and my family

This, you only need to workout once a week full body to achieve a great physique.
Also, your test and GH levels will likely increase due to less stress on your body multiple times a week. Multiple times a week training is for roiders and competitive athletes.
You are just asking for injuries training so much. when you are old your shoulders and knees will be wrecked.
Training multiple times aa week is promoted because the fitness industry benefits the more times you use their products and services.
You don't even need to go to the gym, just do some calisthenics for free. You can build a decent physique with calisthenics.

What would be reasonable? Because honestly nearly everything else can be equated to the same level of bullshit.

You can pretend people are going to run Fortune 500 companies and that's cool if you can, but most people are just going to smoke weed and watch Rick and Morty.

Contrary to popular belief, building muscle doesn't take a lot of time, effort or money. It only takes consistency, an understanding of how to eat right and make a workout that is condusive to muscle growth, and be interested enough to continue to learn a bit more all the time for a few years.

Unfortunately it becomes obsessive for a lot of people, those are the gymcels. However this won't make their muscles grow a lot faster, it could even inhibit muscle growth if they train too much and end up losing sleep due to their obsession.

While other professional sports are hard at it every weekday, the world's most elite professional bodybuilders are loafing around for the vast majority of every day.
