Pretentious as he may be, he's right. Unless you're grinding out mindless cardio, mind-muscle connection is better when you focus 100% on each rep and font have noise blasting in your ears.
>are you ISTlit/?
yes >do you listen to any audiobooks while lifting?
No, I prefer music or nothing at all. If I think too much during lifts, my strength decreases.
Also I don't really like audiobooks, I would rather just read
>are you ISTlit/?
Ye, I listen to music while lifting, and my 'reading' time is with audiobooks and walking. I usually do 5-8 miles a day, and a book every two or so weeks.
If you lack the wherewithal to absorb information in more than one modality (that's by seeing or hearing, since you sound like clarification will help), that is your failing.

Holy shit this moron LMAO
Look at this braindead monkey pretending he's an intellectual...look at his pseud lingo! BWAHAHAHAHAHA. Anon...please. Read a fricking book, for your own sake.
Usually when I’m walking I’ll listen to audiobooks or lectures. I run an ancient history podcast so I generally need a break from reading when I’m lifting.
Currently re-reading pic related because it arrived before any of my other books. I don't listen to audiobooks at all and especially not while working out. Dead trees only. Also on my reading list for the year: >Confessions of a Mask, Yukio Mishima >The Sailor who Fell from Grace with the Sea, Yukio Mishima >Growth of the Soil, Knut Hamsun >Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs

Yes I am fit, no I don’t lift to audiobooks. A good book demands too much attention for that.
I kind of zen out when I lift so I figured I could start listening to something while I do so. I donno if that'd take too much attention though.
if you 'zen out' then you should lift heavier, gay

Me, and I should've mentioned the likelihood of this particular brand of mong:
If you lack the wherewithal to absorb information in more than one modality (that's by seeing or hearing, since you sound like clarification will help), that is your failing.
