Could it not be explained that people who drink fake sugar do so because they have a potential to be fat asses or are fat? They know they can't control their intake of soda so take fake soda

So, meaningless. Study evaluates lifestyle choices of consumers, not the sweeteners.

Learn to understand science so you don't use it against yourself and guide your decisions incorrectly.

Not that sucralose is good, but this study doesn't implicate it. Doesn't even come close.

The study did look at sweeteners. Not sure why you would lie about that unless you are coping with having artificial sweeteners in your diet.

The study says that people who drink a lot of dirt soda are usually dariy and red meat eating fatties that don't eat vegetables or fibre.

So what would happen if I eat dairy and red meat but don't drink soda?

      Anonymous

It's literally impossible to get fat when you're only eating dairy and red meat

        Anonymous

I don't know about dairy but the cure for obesity is limiting someone to eat red meat only. As much as they wish.

Try to eat 500 calories of real cheese and tell me if you feel full afterwards. Then try the same with 500 calories of goyslop. The difference will be huge.
Going way above your TDEE on a dairy and meat only diet is only possible with immense willpower by literally forcing yourself to eat, or by drinking litres of milk per day.

    >This study was based on the prospective NutriNet-Santé e-cohort, launched in France in May 2009, with an open ongoing enrolment of volunteers. The main objective was to investigate the relations between nutrition and health.37 Participants are French adults, aged 18 years or older, with internet access, recruited from the general population by means of multimedia campaigns. They are followed through their personal account created at inclusion on the study website (https://etude-nutrinet-sante.fr/). Immediately after enrolment, each person completes five online questionnaires about diet (24 h dietary records, detailed below), health (eg, personal and familial history, prescription drug use), anthropometric data (height and weight3839), lifestyle and sociodemographic data (eg, date of birth, sex, education level, professional occupation, smoking status, number of children40), and physical activity. Physical activity levels were defined based on the validated seven day assessment International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ).

Lmfao so this "study" was based on internet questionnaires, OP really knows how to do his research *sip*

There are way higher quality meta-analysis and RCTs that show artificial sweeteners have no evidence of harm to humans when consumed in typical doses.
