Cortisol antagonizes test and there is strong evidence in multiple studies which show ash is good at balancing cortisol.

this crap has no day to day benefit
        >brb get fired because i dont give a frick about my wagecuck project deadline

That means your only motivation to do anything was stress-related. You don't have an internal drive or other motivator, you were doing things based on your stress response. It's the same reason people claim anhedonia. They're stressed, so they go home and play vidya or watch TV as a route of escapism. When they take ash their stress is much lower, so they don't get that cortisol reduction in escapist activities, making them feel less enjoyable, even though that's how it's supposed to feel.

Tried it, felt something but not enough to keep buying it. There's better supplements out there.

Theanine and magnesium supplements unironically work more than anything I've ever tried. I've been taking theanine as needed (most days) and in fairly high amounts for almost 10 years now and it really helps me calm down. Especially after too much caffeine

it definitely does something, not sure the mechanism but it alters your mental state a bit. makes you less stressed out or anxious. dont know about the test boosting or sleep aspects, but at the very least it makes you less worried about things

It does it by reducing cortisol levels.

destroys your dopamine receptors with continued use, be warned. look up ashwaghanda anhedonia.

There is not one medical study that has observed anhedonia as a side effect of ashwagandha use. Not one. Zero. Every single report of anhedonia comes from places like Reddit where morons self-diagnose it based on posts that read on Reddit. It's a feedback loop of Reddit moronation that bleeds over to here.

It works for a few days so the perfect dosage would be 500mg every 3 days. It fricks with thyroid glands, so long term it's not worth it, but it's great for rehab after alcohol or weed.

werks for me, do not expect miracle though, and yes, after you get accustomed to it it still works - you just won't notice difference personally until you whitrdraw it (just stay on it, is good and cheap), nothin better for mental health, allows for better (less emotional) control over stressful situations

It's GABA-ergic, so it feels like benzo withdrawal. Just pure hopelessness.

You've never been on benzos and benzo withdrawal is... a tad more unpleasant than "feelings of hopelessness." God you guys are so susceptible to influence from what people say online.

This is outlawed in my c**t. Old neurotics traditionally go for valeriana and there's some other unbeknown to Americans plants.

Like a 1% benefit in muscle growth if you look at the studies.
You decide if it's worth the money or not. I bought it once and the benefits are too small to notice so I don't think it is, personally. But it definitely works

i first did ashwagandha, didnt notice much from it.
Added black maca (black maca is very similar)recently, had large amounts of both together with hot milk& honey every evening for a week or two.
My Libido skyrocketed to a point where i had to stop taking that stuff, i think i had more energy as well, but that might have been placebo. Definetly increases Libido tho.

I bought the extra strength 1,200 mg that's shilled here many times.
Took a half suggested dose for 3 days and it made me feel more anxious. Sweat built on my fingertips like 45 minutes after taking it and I felt tired, not tired enough to sleep, but sluggish.
It's no wonder the FDA has not approved it: results are massively different for each person.

That tends to be my takeaway from getting into the nootropics world. Every review section on every product ranges from people saying it completely turned their life around to people saying the overdosed on it for three weeks and it had no effect.

All these posters saying this makes them tired makes me wonder if this is why I'm so fricking fatigued all the time now I'm on so much shit its hard to pinpoint I stopped taking everything but magnesium and zinc and have been feeling quite a bit better
