Yes. Ashwagandha has been clinically proven to mediate hormones in the thalamus and anterior pituitary gland. It decreases cortisol, decreasing stress. It raises metabolic activity. It increases acetylcholine which is a neurotransmitter that regulates your mood and muscle activity. Since is mediates the anterior pituitary and increases cortisol, there's mechanistic evidence of it increasing testosterone.

The fact that he said he takes ashwaganda without supplying a referral link leads me to belive it actually does something.

I use it for stress relief occasionally and for that its great

I tried the CVS brand, then pure encantations on Amazon. The Amazon stuff was probably twice as potent as the stuff I found at CVS, which is labeled to be ksm66.

What is the Amazon stuff labeled? I thought KSM66 was proprietary.

I'm pretty sure it's a standardized blend, not sure though

that's an extremely uneducated way to look at acetylcholine

you have plenty of reasons to not want your acetylcholine increased

Can anyone comment on ashwaghandha’s effects on appetite? Test boost and stress relief are great but I don’t want to take anything that will lower my appetite because I’m already struggling to bulk past 200. Would love for it to boost my appetite even.

Tried it, didn't feel any difference for the first couple days, then got raging, red-hot erections at random times. Stopped since I don't want to screw with the natural state of my libido/erections. I'm a naturally high anxiety/stress kind of individual but it feels like my baseline and tolerance is higher for that kind of thing, no real need for ashwaganda.

It's pretty based for lowering stress hormones. That's largely it though the increase in test is marginal and won't make a difference.

Correct me I'd I'm wrong here, but according to a lot of studies it had either no effect at all, or a very very small effect. You can take it as a "if it works it works" supplement, but I wouldn't go into it expecting to actually feel any change.

Even if it does provide you with a percentile boost, any changes you *feel* will be entirely placebo.
