>used to just sit around all day doing nothing
>hate myself, skinny nerd, feel like i will never be anything
>start watching dragon ball
>watch how Goku never backs down from any challenge, always pushes himself and always finds ways to improve
>Inspired
>start asking myself throughout my daily life what goku would do in my situation
>start exercising and lifting, keep a positive attitude and never give up
>some people make fun of goku being my inspiration. But if that's what it took me to become a better version of myself, i'll let them hate.
>know that if Goku was real that he would say the same things i say to motivate myself, and he would be proud of my progress
thank you goku.
For me, it’s Indy.
Every time I get dealt challenges I ask myself “what would Indy do?” Or “how would Indy deal with this?”
Sure he might feel down for a while but it wouldn’t stop him from having swashbuckling adventures, fighting evil and getting the girl. He wouldn’t wallow and be defeated.
based and gokupilled
dragonball and it’s consequences have been a disaster for the human race

I feel so bad for men who have never watched DBZ. The show is just 1 lone ass journey to becoming a man and overcoming every obstactle in your way.
Every shonan anime is exactly that.
Why are the Japanese so weak when they have prime motivation material?
Because their culture makes them suicidal so it just balances them.
Damn japs fricked up fr fr
Americanisation, see also S. Korea
How are they even able to make such good motivational material if they are so weak anyways? You think they would take the steps to become what they write about but the writers always look frail
The writers always write and draw for living thus they have to focus on that skill to get good at it to deliver a great product, think of it like traditional craftsmen, they honor and respect their art above all else and will focus on making their best piece of work they can not just to satisfy masses or the wallet but to achieve a lasting legacy.
They take pride in their work as their own dedication and respect the pride that we take in ours. Its about honor.
because when they frick up, instead of trying again and improving, they ritualistically kill themselves to un-shame their shitty grandpa
I ask myself a similar question and then I go "Hrrgh, Colonel" in his voice.
I like Socrates (or was it plato?) who said they always listened to that voice in their head, and thats what made them different from other people. God knows that if I listened to the voice in my head, my productivity would go up a lot more and Id be much more outgoing
Goku is cringe
