At what point do you stop looking DYEL? Is there a strength bench mark to aim for or is it just a never ending cycle where the goalpost keeps getting moved?

    DYEL is entirely subjective but I would say when you finish your beginner routine and move onto an intermediate routine and you finish your first bulk-cut cycle

    You have to be able to actually talk to women in the first place to get a girl like that, also assuming you mean girls like her specifically (literally a professional model) you’d better hope you’re rich as frick too

    here’s the typical timeline from someone who’s been lifting 5 days a week consistently for 1 year 10 months and has stopped then started back lifting several times in his life
    Assuming your starting from absolute zero exercise you’ll start noticing small beginner gains around month 3, nobody else will notice
    At the 5-6 month benchmark the people closest to you will start to notice and say things like “hey have you been working out?” This is still nowhere impressive but it’s getting somewhere
    At around the 10-12 month mark is when even people you don’t know will start to notice that you’re clearly someone who works out, still not “big” by gym standards, but by normie standards you’ll look like someone who lifts, you’ll start to blend in with the other gymbros
    at about ~1.5 years you’ll be looking pretty decent, and it just goes up from there
    If you wanna be the gymboss you’d better be in it for the long haul, all the biggest dudes at my gym have been lifting 5+ years and are absolutely huge, and keep in mind your progress will slow down as you get bigger and stronger

      This is accurate in my experience. Also depends where you start from (i.e. if you start as skelly or obese your changes will obviously be more noticeable than if you were just average skinnyfat).

    most people look pretty big relatively lean (like 12-15% bf) around 2/3/4/5 numbers. that's what im at right now. i have some okayish ab definition at nearly 200lbs and i still look big in clothes

    Bro STFU and just work out. Think about all the things you don't have that you think the world should give you. Think about the potential in you to kill a man and take a woman. Think about the irrational fervor of your inherent deep seated tribalism and the things you think that you can never tell anyone else. Take all that irrational, visceral, unsympathetic, instinctual energy and channel it into picking up a fricking weight. Do that shit over and over and over again. Do nothing but that everyday for an hour a day and you won't have to be worry about what 'dyel' even fricking means cause you won't fricking be it! The people who lift for life do so to fill a void but the void itself can't be the lack of muscles. It has to be something deeper and metaphysical. Train for the coming war. Train for the confidence you've never had. Train to protect what you already have and the one's you love. Whatever it is, you got to STFU and just work out. Do that shit like your life depends on it(because it does).

    If you want a hot, ripped body in the shortest amount of time, do bodybuilding routines with dumbbells. Pump a shit ton of sets and different exercises for the same muscle group. Volume is king.
