They don’t exercise for aesthetics, most athletic exercises involve tons of conditioning and practice on skills related to the game, what weightlifting is done in sports is usually high rep as opposed to the 8-10 reps for hypertrophy and bodybuilding, this is because they need good muscular endurance to perform in an entire sporting event without getting tired
>what weightlifting is done in sports is usually high rep
We do normal strength training numbers, 3-6 reps with the occasional rep work. Any strength coach giving their athletes only high rep stuff is not worth listening to
I never said they only do high rep work, but it’s usually primarily high rep work with lower rep strength mixed in, similar to the west side method for sports
if theres any kinesologist or people who actually know what theyre talking about id think a little bit of body fat is good for strength rather than being super lean to show off your form you have more energy storage for strength gains
I had a high school teacher with the same body type as Tyson Fury. He was also british. I imagine that was the phenotype they used to conquer the world.
im really curious

how should i lift if i want maximum performance in boxing, any workouts?
Honestly a trainer could give you better advice than I could
ok
strength and conditioning
>maximum performance in boxing
>lift
you don't. you run and you box.
And tons of pushups and other bodyweight exercises
You have to do hella reps, like hundreds of push ups and sit ups every day

being a lanklet is unnatural
Because he is a boxer not a bodybuilder?
Training for a sport and training for aesthetics are very different things

That’s common knowledge
>friends friend boasts about being a triathlon athlete
>shows a group photo
>90% are skinny DYEL lanklets or skinnyfat manlets
because aesthetics have very little to do with performance
That's the best u can hope for at 6'9 without steroids
