Back Acne aka BACNE

Any of you guys successfully gotten rid of it? How. Please help. I shower daily and change sheets weekly. I've tried salicylic acid spray but it didn't help much. I was on Accutane as a teenager which cleared my face but didn't seem to help my back.

I don't have any acne on my face or any part of my body. Never have taken accutane. I also don't take any supplements not even whey or multivitamin. I don't wash or moisturize my face even after I sweat from running or working out. I don't wear deodorant. I get adequate sunlight to the point where I have a healthy looking tan. Some people say I look like I'm in my early 20's when I'm in my early 30's.

Doesn't Accutane cause hair loss/weaken hair strands?

U may wanna do another cycle. Feel guilty shilling this product on here all the time but I had disgusting cysts all over my back, chest and shoulders. I haven’t had a flare since but it was really the only thing that worked.

A beach holiday. Sun and salt water do wonders. If that's not an option, soak in sea salt and just go shirtless in the sun. If you don't have a bath tub, make a salt rub with some hot water and massage it in for a few minutes before showering. Tanning salon works if you don't have any sun either.

I've found that this helps me too (sun especially).
I have same issue as OP but chest instead of back. I usually take very hot showers and have been trying to go a little more lukewarm and also using benzoyl peroxide. Seems to help a bit but hasn't cleared it up.
I also eat really clean, barely drink, sleep a lot, shower right after working out, etc. Really frustrating

I had pretty bad back and chest acne through my 20s. Started clearing up by my late 20s. Am now 35 they're basically gone. The scars are still there though (especially on the back). Nothing help back then. Seriously a large reason for me turning introvert.

Vitamin B5 helped mine a little, and high dose retinol (10.000-25.000). Rn I'm only on vitamin A and I just have less acne, not 0. All on delts/traps (not natty).

But this is completely random, there are so many things that can fix acne, it depends on what causes yours.

sun bathing made it way less common for me to have pimples, not sure why, may have something to do with oil glands, you really need to let the skin breath i guess

This, just go outside more, get your back tanned. Im not sure if it actually helps or is just aesthetic but it seems to work for me.

I think tans obscure redness, making lesions less noticeable, but i always figured it was mainly the UV radiation lowering ones epidermal bacterial count. Maybe also inducing a positive immune response; apparently UV light is a common treatment for psoriasis for this reason.

Either way im pretty convinced everyone needs some sun and fresh air and the whole "you dont need sun just take pills and eat fish" mantra is lazy garbo

had bacne from israelite pills before i started gear. accutane has helped immensely. if you're a b urger your doctor will probably try to give you 40-80mg a day which is a horribly high dose. try 10, low and slow. that shit can and will frick you up if you take too much.

I HIGHLY recommend benzoyl peroxide 10% for this with an exfoliating glove/brush and some type of moisturizer and sunscreen.

    >Wash and exfoliate your back
    >Add Benzoyl Peroxide (panoxyl is the brand I use) and wait 10-15 minutes until it's tout
    > Wash off normally with your soap
    >Moisturize back (I use Cerave daily moisturizer and the sunscreen) and repeat for 4-8 days either twice a day or once

After that, you'll only have to use it once a week!

When do you shower? I've noticed I've got some acne on my traps and I think a big part of it is because I don't shower immediately after lifting.
My advice: Don't wear a shirt that is all covered in sweat, shower immediately after working out, and drink more water buddeh

I have asked myself this question my whole teenage years. I have the worst bacne in my state and when i finally went to the dermatologist at 18yo he was so shocked and fascinated he asked me to take photos to show how untreated severe cystic acne looks. My whole back looks like deadpools unmasked face and the self hate I have felt all my life is the reason I started working out.

Change your shirts often, especially if you're sweating.

Cold showers. What kind of shirts do you wear when you work out? Cotton shirts give me bacne but dry fit type synthetic workout shirts and under armor stuff doesn’t

Get a tan, seriously. The sun will kill the bacteria on your skin and burn the top layer that's full of acne. It didn't fix it completely for me but the skin was much smoother

Reduce showers. - maximum 1 a day if with hot water, and keep it brief
Long, hot showers dry out the skin. It should mostly heal within a week of this
