I've been on minoxidil for a year and dermarolling for months, i dont think i've got any follicles in there to grow. Might have to transplant from my hairline since i'm not balding.

          >dermarolling
has that literally ever been proven? Everyone using doing that is doing other proven methods like minox or fin.

            Anonymous

Yes, but it's also common sense. The physiological process of balding is reduced bloodflow to the follicles which means less nutrients. Your hair starts thinning and eventually the follicles just die off.

Dermarolling, massages or whatever else can increase bloodflow to your scalp will slow down the balding process

Are minox beard gains permanent or is it like minox hair gains for bald dudes where it falls out when you stop using it?

Also if you're on finasteride will minox work for improving the beard?

Willis was strictly a comedy actor before Die Hard. Him playing John McClane was casting very much against type, like casting Keaton as Batman (same year).
After Die Hard, because he was so good in his turn as an action hero, he never really went back to comedy. It's kind of hard to picture him as anything but action star anymore.

    Bull...

Balding men were found to appear less healthy, confident, and attractive. They also came off as older, according to 90% of those surveyed. Even those who shave their heads without natural baldness are perceived as less attractive
    https://qoves.com/young-parent-hypothesis/

Many men fear losing their hair, and a new study has revealed that their worries may not be completely unfounded.
New research published in the journal Evolutionary Psychological Science, found that bald white men were judged to be less successful and less attractive by women.

Young women judged the man without hair to be significantly less attractive.

I'm a manlet and balding and I genuinely don't give a frick. I've had women interested in me regardless. It's insanely visible when guys are desperate to impress women or be with someone. I've had married women straight up tell me that despite being far less objectively attractive than like half my friends, they overall found me more attractive because I was enjoyable to be around and didn't treat them with kid gloves. Focus & improve on yourself, better yourself and your skillset as a person and life will be a whole lot easier in general.

I did everything I possibly can to improve myself and am quite happy with my life. IST, social, plenty of hobbies, academically successful, all that shit. But it's still frustrating how somebody with my life AND with a full head of hair would be an absolute turbo chad and that's just not possible for me.
I don't lie awake at night cursing the gods over my fate, but it does negatively impact my life since my potential dating pool is severely limited and I'm somewhat expected to date down in regards to my success in life just because I started balding at 15.

            Anonymous

            >my potential dating pool is severely limited
My man, you're spending free time here. Chances are your dating pool was limited from the start. I'll never frick models, will be very unlikely to frick my ideal girl in terms of looks and realistically would be lucky to date a 7 but genuinely who gives a frick. You eventually get over looks and you're left with the person and if they're ass to be around then it really doesn't matter how good they look.

Too many guys on the internet care way too much about women they wouldn't want to be around in the first place, chasing women who literally have nothing to offer but looks. I'm not calling you an incel here but it's the same story every time with this shit.

              Anonymous

Well of course me being the kind of person who spends time on IST, i.e. somewhat of an autist, also limits my dating pool. That doesn't negate the other factors though, it just makes them worse. In total I got
              >high standards
university educated, physically fit, decently attractive, not insufferable. in other words a female counterpart to me
              >has to be compatible with me
here the autism part comes in of course
              >has to find me attractive
I did everything I can to up my chances on this part, but baldness severely cripples me here

So like I said being bald this fricking early has a strong negative impact on an important part of my life. And just saying "just man up lolol who cares" doesn't change that.

                Anonymous

I'm not saying just man up, I'm saying being bald most likely isn't the hugely negative impact you think it is. Again, it's the same story I've seen on here and a million other places. Some guy thinks this one thing about them means they're forever alone when in reality there's a bunch of other reasons. Being university educated doesn't mean a lot in a world where more and more people are at that level. What you studied means a hell of a lot more and even then, outside of academia and your job most people don't really give a frick unless they're a gold digger. Are you actually, clinically autistic?

I don't know what else to tell you. I'm like a 5 at my absolute best and there's a guy in my friend group who is a model that works for a suit company so I look extra dogshit when I'm out with him. I'm barely 5'8 & skinny which makes the balding look worse and yet I've still had women interested in me and I'm currently in a FWB agreement with a girl I know. The woman I've dated might not have been models but they certainly weren't ugly. Either your standards are way too high, which is something you'll actually just have to learn to deal with, or there's way more factors to why you're struggling with women.

                Anonymous

When I say university educated I mean not a meme degree, which I don't consider real. Doesn't have to be STEM like me, but something reasonably difficult.
I know it's not impossible and I know there are many things that matter when it comes to women. It's just shitty that this one thing 100% out of my control is as impactful as 1000s of hours working out or studying when it comes to average attractiveness to women.

Also consider that being bald at a super young age and going through teenage years with the hairline of a 40 year old does serious psychological damage that you can't just rationalize away. I wasn't even bullied, but just getting rejected while guys around me pull chicks left and right is not very fun.
On the bright side I kinda hit my lowest point at 16 and have only gotten more attractive with every year since. Whereas most guys just decline after 22 or so

                Meant to add:
It's perfectly possible to be pretty attractive bald, but you really need to put in a crazy amount of work. As balding kinda acts like a multiplier when it comes to attractiveness. Which is where the frustration comes from. I need to be in peak physical condition to pull of my look, whereas some guy with perfect hair can just be skinny, dress like an edgy hipster and get on the same level with 0 work

                >It's just shitty that this one thing 100% out of my control
So stop worrying about it. Obviously you can't just switch it off, even I sometimes see myself in the mirror and think "frick dude I'd look so much better with a full head of hair", but my options are either to get a transplant or learn to accept how I look. It clearly bothers you a lot so you really need to spend some time and accept it. It's fricking hard but you're going to end up better for it in the long run. I started balding when I was 21. I remember specifically the day because the first time I noticed my hairline was going back was the day after Diablo 3 launched.

                >Also consider that being bald at a super young age and going through teenage years with the hairline of a 40 year old does serious psychological damage
Dude, I remember being 16 and two girls in my friends group were rating the guys in our group. I'm a euro so we were playing football and they were nearby but close enough to hear. They finish rating everyone and one of them goes, "What about anon" and they all laugh. Those frickers didn't even rate me, that's how lowly they thought of me physically. At the time it was fricking devastating for my self-confidence but when I think about it these days I just laugh because it's so insanely unimportant to my life overall. I know how it feels to be rejected and literally laughed at but realistically, what impact does it have on my life? Absolutely zero. I'm in good health, I'm still fairly young, I'm educated and I have an insane amount of options open to me in my life. Why the frick would I, or anyone in my situation, be sweating about random women I don't know not wanting to frick me because I don't have hair on my head.

Well I started balding at 15 like I said. That is a significant difference. I was so bald I had to shave my head at the age you noticed your hairline receding lol. Imagine being a 21 year old babyfaced autist and have people think you're 30.
The past is the past. I can't change it. I can only look forward and work towards what I want in life. Doesn't mean this shit isn't frustrating.

                >They finish rating everyone and one of them goes, "What about anon" and they all laugh. Those frickers didn't even rate me, that's how lowly they thought of me physically.
ah man, fricking ouch lol. gotta laugh or cry I guess, might as well laugh. you did get some gfs later tho right bro?

seriously, more than anything else, it's about BALLS dude. confidence = pussy, it's just a fact. find a way to get confidence and be proud of who you are, pump your test levels by working out and shit. inb4 hurrrr nice cope durr, i mean you can be a b***h if you want and not improve yourself or you can be a fricking man and be the very best person you can be. it's just hair dudes.

btw if you twats didnt at least try finasteride to save your hair that was a really dumb move lol. not the guy who was balding at 16, that's prob too young to start that shit since u wanna complete puberty, but u other frickers... lol. try fin, if you get sides, drop it, duh, if you dont youre golden. post finasteride syndrome, if its even real, is an extremely rare thing. inb4 angry bald crabs, I don't care, stay bald, I'm happy keeping my hair and god tier good looks until the day I croak.

Oh yeah, like I said in previous replies I've had success with women since then.
                >btw if you twats didnt at least try finasteride to save your hair that was a really dumb move lol
I just cba. I genuniely just don't care enough. Probably still is dumb not to try though.

Nah I truely do not care. I absolutely look a lot better with a full head of hair but I just couldn't be bothered with the hassle of putting the shit in and letting it set, buying it etc. It's fricking lazy but it's just not a huge deal to me and I know it limits my dating pool but I also truely don't give a frick about that. There's so many more important things to me in life than if some random girl cares about if I have hair on my head or not.

                >couldn't be bothered with the hassle of putting the shit in and letting it set
most people just take the finasteride pill rather than topical solution

unnatractive from which perspective tho? in social sense, or physical sense? insecurity makes u look ,,weaker'' but doesnt make u any more or less ooga booga attractive/disgusting tbh.

It doesn't mean shit for your average poster. 8+/10 can do anything and still look good while a 6 may fall to a 4 if he starts balding.

Once you're bald enough, you'll most likely have to transmaxx anyway in order to get sex.

Why do hikikomoris seem so prone to balding? I met up with someone from high school a month or two ago and his hairline is now almost up to the top of his scalp at 25, he combs down from the top in an attempt to cover it
I've seen similar tragic cases with shutins who are either completely bald or have massive bald spots at this age

When will I know bros? I have very early diffuse thinning on the crown, just a slightly sparser cowlick but it's not really bald. So far it seems the same LOL. The scalp burning sensation stopped tho. I take 0.5mg every other day.

No sides before anyone starts, dick is still supreme. Actually this drug took away my chest acne and never get any acne on face anymore. I used to get the odd zit but now never and skin is looking much better even on face. This drug is fricking amazing tbh. Hope my dick doesn't fall off tho ngl lol.

I'm 6 months in and my hair has already become a lot denser with slight regrowth at my temples (currently NW1.5-2). If I zoom in on my progress pics, I can see hundreds of smaller, dark vellus hair growing at my temples and in parts where I'm still thinning. My best guess is that in another 6 months I'll likely be a strong NW1.5 on both sides and maybe I'll even get to NW1 again eventually.
Hair cycles take months each time and some hair is miniaturized so badly that it needs dozens of hair cycles in order to even be visible again.
