Heavy Grips, Grip Genie, Gripzilla and their clones are cheap chinesium tier. They work but the quality is lacking.
They're better off as benchmark testers than for long term training, unless you don't mind replacing them semi often. It probably doesn't happen as much at the high end of tension, but the low end that you'll start at is going to lose it's rating just by training on it.
Grab heavy things that are oddly shaped and awkward to hold onto. Do lifts with them. Literally pick up rocks with one hand. Do upright rows with cinder blocks. Do lateral raises with hunks of steel that are difficult to hold onto. Your forearms grow because you aren’t strong enough to hold onto something, not because you’re not strong enough to crush something. That’s why strongmen’s forearms mog bodybuilder forearms to hell and back.
