Anyways, you're not making your calves smaller unless you wheelchair yourself around for several months. I have relatively big calves from running and am ottermode.

40cm calves 33cm neck, 28cm bicep here, quite a bad ratio. There is only so much you can recover and gain, so I have decided not to train legs at all. But I do not want them smaller, I do not want to be weaker, muscle is muscle and legs are useful. I will get there.
