This is wrong. You can go right into a cut. I started as skinnyfat and horribly out of shape in August and my progress has been great. Fat literally melted off and as it did I have gained a substantial amount of muscle. DO NOT FALL FOR THE "BULK" MEME just take the lean pill anon. Trust me please.
Not him but your goals can change over time, in fact they should change
You don't go from skinnyfat to mr universe, you go from skinnyfat to skinny, to slim, to athletic, to swole, to...
(for example)
So if you're skinnyfat, maybe your goal is to lose fat. Then when your love handles have gone away a bit and you've got skinny, that's a goal achieved, and maybe your next goal is to put on a little bit of muscle. And so on

>I started as skinnyfat
is this bait? you were obese
Perhaps I'm mistaken by finally not being fat. It appeared like muscle growth (to me) but it's probably just lower bf. I also am not doing strength training by any means.
My routine is this
P/C/P/C/L standard push pull legs but with cardio thrown in between.
I eat at around a 800cal deficit as my daily goal. In the morning I either have fruit, oats, or eggs, for lunch it's left overs (usually a protein and a grain like brown rice), as a snack between breakfast and lunch I have a serving of siggis whole milk yogurt, another lunch I will have is a canned tuna sandwich with pistachios, for dinners I will have things like stuffed peppers, chicken and rice w/eggs, shrimp stir fry, chili, or steak and mashed potatoes. I am very new to fitness (obviously). I am open to any criticism and advice. Thanks in advanced.
I did slight bulk, doesnt even feel like I gained much fat at all, and I feel like I filled out nicer now. Can't wait to cut tho. Felt way grosser before and was kinda skinny fat

Not OP but when do i stop cutting?
When you reach your goal clothing size.
isn't it the reverse? bulk to selected clothing size?

Great job losing weight but you gained no muscle. Post diet and routine

>standard push pull legs
There is no "standard" push/pull/leg. The only thing you've said is that you're doing half the frequency of a PPL.
Post before and after lifts.
Zero muscle diference. Post routine.
Cut first. Skinny is better than fat.
